Brown, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Reidsville, N. C. After an introduction. Rev. Brown was ready, watching and waiting, Subject: Too Many Churches. He said, in part: Don't you get mad because I am going to preach the gospel. If you have been living crooked just straighten up. Chri'st set up only one church, and if there are others, there are t'oo many. All denominations shall be broken up and have one church. J ereboam established a kind of religion, but it could not stand. Every denomination, except three, came out of the Baptist Church. Rev. Brown preached a great sermon. It met with approval from all the people. At the close of the sermon prayer was offered by Rev. Wm. Morton. A collection was lifted by Revs. S. Wade and J. H. Love. Amount raised, $10.
