Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Build your own intelligent agent system... Intelligent agent technology is a tool of modern computer science that can be used to engineer complex computer programmes that behave rationally in dynamic and changing environments. Applications range from small programmes that intelligently search the Web buying and selling goods via electronic commerce, to autonomous space probes. This powerful technology is not widely used, however, as developing intelligent agent software requires high levels of training and skill. The authors of this book have developed and tested a methodology and tools for developing intelligent agent systems. With this methodology (Prometheus) developers can start agent-oriented designs and implementations easily from scratch saving valuable time and resources. Developing Intelligent Agent Systems not only answers the questions “what are agents?” and “why are they useful?” but also the crucial question: “how do I design and build intelligent agent systems?” The book covers everything a practitioner needs to know to begin to effectively use this technology - including an introduction to the notion of agents, a description of the concepts involved, and a software engineering methodology. Read on for: a practical step-by-step introduction to designing and building intelligent agent systems. a full life-cycle methodology for developing intelligent agent systems covering specification, analysis, design and implementation of agents. PDT: Prometheus Design Tool – software support for the Prometheus design process. the example of an electronic bookstore to illustrate the design process throughout the book. Electronic resources including the Prometheus Design Tool (PDT), can be found at: http://www.cs.rmit.edu.au/agents/prometheus This book is aimed at industrial software developers, software engineers and at advanced undergraduate students. Book excerpt: Linspired reveals the remarkable journey of the ultimate underdog, Jeremy Lin, formerly of the New York Knicks, current superstar point guard of the Houston Rockets, and the first American-born player of Chinese/Taiwanese descent to play in the National Basketball Association. In spite of being cut by two NBA teams before he signed with the Knicks, Lin always trusted that God had a plan for his life and his talents. In an interview with Mike Yorkey, Lin says, "I'm not exactly sure how it is all going to turn out, but I know for a fact that God has called me to be here now in the NBA.” After weeks of sitting at the end of the bench, a teammate’s injury finally placed Lin on the court. Since then, he has captivated sports fans throughout the world with his tremendous skill and humble response to all the acclaim. Weighing in on this phenomenon are tennis’s Michael Chang, the first notable Asian-American athlete, Lin’s pastor, Stephen Chen, and Pat Williams, senior vice president of the Orlando Magic. Other features include eight pages of full-color photos and in-depth interviews with Lin himself, as well as an entirely new chapter detailing Jeremy’s move to the Rockets.

Download or read book The Biden Crime Family written by Rudy Giuliani and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2024-10-29 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Biden Crime Family is a short, engaging description of the evidence that supports the case that President Joe Biden and his family are deeply corrupt. They are so corrupt that when former New York mayor and US attorney Rudy Giuliani first stumbled across evidence of what they were doing in Ukraine, it reminded him of his experience prosecuting the five mafia families that used to run New York. Joe Biden began to seek enormous bribes and payouts when he became vice president. In every situation where he was the point man for the Obama administration’s policy toward a country, he ended up making millions of dollars, and failing to obtain whatever the US policy goal was. In these endeavors, Joe’s drug addicted younger son, Hunter, worked with him. Hunter was the “bagman.” You can question whether it was loving or even decent for a politician to use his dysfunctional son in this matter. But it happened. Joe’s brother James also served as a bagman, sometimes working with Hunter. Other family members participated as needed. When Joe was made the point man for Ukraine—with the special mission of cleaning up Ukrainian corruption so deep that it had left the country almost bankrupt—he did nothing to help. Instead, he had Hunter placed on the board of Burisma, an energy and gas company at the center of some of Ukraine’s most corrupt government dealings. Hunter took home a million a year to do nothing. The rule was “ten percent for the big guy.” Hunter has complained about how half his income went to dad. The same and worse happened with Joe in China and Iraq. The Biden Crime Family displays the evidence clearly—and makes the kind of case that should get a conviction on Biden family corruption.

Download or read book Spirit Rises written by Terence Hamilton-Morris and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2013-02-22 with total page 321 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Lifes most profound mysteries have inspired great thinkers throughout the ages, but few answers have emerged to address these major questions: Why are we born? What is the meaning of life? What happens to us after we die? Is there life after so-called human death? Can we ever hope to have the answers to these important questions? Even the pursuit of answers stirs up controversy; some say that the questions themselves are more important than any answers that might be shared. Author Terence Hamilton-Morris, a clairvoyant and open medium, offers his insights into these unanswerable mysteries. His approach is controversial, enlightening, and confrontational. He invites us to look at these questions from a broader spectrum of possibility and encourages us to look more intently at subjects that we are often instructed to ignore. He challenges followers of all religions to be truthful to their original teachings. He stresses the importance of discipline, motivation, and respect for others, and he hopes to inspire us to take better care of our environment. Hamilton-Morris has called upon a veritable panel of experts from the spirit world, each of whom has chosen to share their experiences, insight, and teaching from beyond, based on their own experiences from their time on Earth. Compelled to share this story by his personal guides because of his extraordinary relationship to the world of Spirit, he wants the world to be able to reach what Spirit demanded of him.

The four-part organization leads from a primer on VGEs to virtual cities and landscapes, interface design and public participation, and finally mobile and networked VGEs. Current topics, such as crowd sourcing and related services, point to the development of new business models that merge proprietary and nonproprietary systems.
