Emanuel Kant affirmed the Empiricist preoccupation with sense experience and the material world, but reconciled this with the rationalist tradition by noting that experience itself is made possible only through deeper underlying (a-priori) mental structure (deeper than concepts or ideas) such as space, time, and mathematical forms like numbers and shapes that exist regardless of what exists in the material world. Strive for the best, aspire to both inner and outer verity (condor, reality), because we have entered into a new era which, ironically, many scientific findings are alluding to what for thousands of years the sages and the prophetically minded philosophers have claimed: that mankind is the very reason for the existence; that you are not in the universe but the universe is within you. Professing it is because of God that you exist and it is because of you that the universe prevails since the quantum world of the infinitely dancing particle where the substratum, the sub-atomic realm of the unseen world and the “observer effect” arrive at making it all possible as it gives meaning into how you look at the universe, knowing that the sole act of observing will influence the phenomenon being observed; that nothing can exist if no mind is there to perceive it. “There’s no way to remove the observer - us - from our perceptions of the world.” Stephen Hawking.

All papers deal with natural processes that inter act on various time scales and with different degrees of mass and heat transfer. Consequently, many fundamental axioms of metamorphic petrol ogy and structural geology are questioned both for their accuracy and their usefulness. In raising such questions, most contributors have pointed to ways in which the answers could be forthcoming from appropriate experi mental studies or observations on natural materials. In their discussion of how order/disorder can influence mineral assem blages, Carpenter and Putnis emphasize that metastable crystal growth is common in metamorphic systems and state' 'there may be some reluctance (among many earth scientists) to accept that significant departures from equilibrium could occur." On the basis of presented evidence, they question whether reactions ever occur close to an equilibrium boundary. The neces sity for pressure or temperature overstepping is also required by nucleation rate theory. In any case, the degree of order is severely influenced by these kinetic effects in igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic environments.

Reign of essence/ the encyclopedia of critical thinking is the closest that the reader can come in quenching one’s thirst in search of the truth; since no better source can philosophically, scientifically, ethically, morally, spiritually, and historically attribute to facts referencing the visible and the ethereal (ghostly) atmosphere so evidential to a magnificent programmer. Leaving no doubt, we live in a computer-simulated matrix since the extremely orderly and regulated universe. Operates like unique computer bits, tuning our world and beyond. Acknowledging, gravitating to essential premises, and apart from fiction and determinant notions that are not thoroughly, methodologically investigated. Contiguous, bordering, the nearest that one can come to God as the transparent image of the almighty; perhaps looking at the human brain hinting at alien-like characters should remind us of conforming simulated clone dominion. With a thorough look into the invisible domain, the quantum world. I called it the metaphysical realm. The culprits and the ignorance should realize it is not what it is. Becoming concerned makes much sense. It is not what it looks like. There is a higher source; call it what you wish; I call the preeminent God.

Book excerpt: The poetics of epiphany have long been recognised as a broad aesthetic trend of modernism, related to the power of art to reveal the hidden essence of reality. Yet the critical use of the concept is still contested, complicated by the fact that in many modernist works exceptional moments are anything but revealing. This book embraces the blurred nature of epiphanies and sets out to explore their effects in a comparative journey paralleling Anglophone and Italian modernist short fiction. The work of four modernist short story writers – Luigi Pirandello, James Joyce, Federigo Tozzi, and Katherine Mansfield – illuminates epiphanies as complex phenomena, connected to multiple aspects of modernist culture, which appear in artistic experiences developed independently in the same decades. The ideas of Henri Bergson, William James, Martin Heidegger, and Maurice Merleau-Ponty, among others, nuance our understanding of the stories and of the author's vision behind them. At least three threads emerge, as a result, as common characteristics of modernist epiphanies. First, they are a result of the ‘inward turn’ and of the curiosity about the psyche’s subconscious processes. Second, they attempt to rediscover lived experience as a source of partial but reliable knowledge. Third, they re-actualise mystical experiences as conduits to a secular insight about life. The main appeal of these modernist moments of enlightenment is precisely that they establish an atmosphere of ambiguity where multiple and sometimes irreconcilable potential meanings can be found. By so doing, they succeed in evoking the undifferentiated creative potential that, according to the widespread vitalist philosophies of the age, constitutes the essence of life. In reframing ambiguity and indeterminacy as spaces of creation and choice, epiphanies thus bring out a lesser known, life-affirming but not naïve vein of modernist inspiration.

So, in this book I do not try to be comprehensive, or to present much so-called 'factual' information. Instead, I deal more with basic principles, in the hope that these will guide the student in his or her encounters with the details of specific metamorphic problems.
