Rayon, Knickers and their companions, Stour and Twill use this opportunity to find Yarn - and to warn the other dust bunny tribes around the house about the impending clean up that will be unleashed after the repairman comes in a couple of days. After making their way to the basement, the laundry drier exhaust carries Rayon, Knickers, Twill, Ouse and now a clutch of simple-minded drier lint called the fuzzballs, up to the attic where they find the densely woven Yarn, the oldest dust bunny in the house. Yarn though tells them to do nothing; entropy is on their side. Dust, Yarn assures them, will prevail. But entropy won't stop the repairman coming so Rayon, Knickers, Stour, Twill and a clutch of fluffy-brained fuzzballs have only forty eight hours so use the forces of entropy and entanglement in a bid to save Rayon and the dust bunnies from certain inhalation. Rayon the dust bunny and a vacuum abhorred is a novel for trainee adults and fully fledged grown-ups with a taste for a domestic fantasia and like a twist to their stories.
