Book Mechanisms of Electromagnetic and Gravitational Fields

Download or read book Mechanisms of Electromagnetic and Gravitational Fields written by Bettin Mironov and published by Virtual Bookworm.Com Pub Incorporated. This book was released on 2007-11-01 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The undular model forms the basis of this book. The metric of undular frames is analyzed, and the interaction of mechanical particles is considered as an interaction of waves. The mechanisms of the electromagnetic field are considered from the point of view of the undular model. It is shown that the transverse character of electromagnetic waves is a result of the fact that the tools of measurement have an undular nature. That last part of the book is devoted to a description of the mechanisms of electrostatic and gravitational fields.

Book Multivalued Fields in Condensed Matter Electromagnetism and Gravitation

Download or read book Multivalued Fields in Condensed Matter Electromagnetism and Gravitation written by Hagen Kleinert and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2008 with total page 522 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book lays the foundations of the theory of fluctuating multivalued fields with numerous applications. Most prominent among these are phenomena dominated by the statistical mechanics of line-like objects, such as the phase transitions in superfluids and superconductors as well as the melting process of crystals, and the electromagnetic potential as a multivalued field that can produce a condensate of magnetic monopoles. In addition, multivalued mappings play a crucial role in deriving the physical laws of matter coupled to gauge fields and gravity with torsion from the laws of free matter. Through careful analysis of each of these applications, the book thus provides students and researchers with supplementary reading material for graduate courses on phase transitions, quantum field theory, gravitational physics, and differential geometry.

Book The Principles of Electromagnetic Theory and of Relativity

Download or read book The Principles of Electromagnetic Theory and of Relativity written by M.-A. Tonnelat and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 481 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this work is to study the principles upon which the classical and relativistic theories of the electromagnetic and gravitational fields are based. Thus, the primary object of the book is to present a simple exposition of Maxwell's theory, of General Relativity and of the link between those two concepts, namely, Special Relativity. In the nineteenth century the notion of a continuous field gradually replaced the idea of action at a distance. The electromagnetic theory that was elaborated at that time covers a very large area of Physics, since it makes possible the description of permanent phenomena, electrostatics and magnetostatics, as well as of variable phenomena. It anticipates the existence of waves, and thereby the theory of light is annexed to this vast domain. It was discovered that Maxwell's equations changed their form when they were related to reference systems associated with two observers in rectilinear uniform motion with respect to each other and each endowed with the absolute time required by classical mechanics. This was a most remarkable fact. Indeed, as soon as attempts were made to verify the results of classical kinematics by means of experiments with the propa gation of light, there arose a whole series of contradictions.

Book Explaining Gravity Simple Consistent and Complete

Download or read book Explaining Gravity Simple Consistent and Complete written by Bob Ticer and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2021-06-09 with total page 214 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A simple explanation of gravity relates to the Higgs mechanism and the Pauli exclusion principle. By the latter, matter cannot occupy the same space other matter occupies, but light energy superimposes to be nearly invisible to other light. By the Higgs mechanism, light energy converts to matter. By its interaction, matter also converts back to light energy. Light speed is also slower in a gravitational field. There is thus a positive field of energy maintaining matter that emits light energy for a vacuum effect consistent with the inverse square law. As a recycling effect, it is also consistent with Einstein's cosmological constant and the cosmological principle of the big bang theory. Tired light is also included for dark energy whereby the Hubble Constant divided by light speed equates the ratio of gravitational force to electromagnetic force.

Book Quantization of Fields

Download or read book Quantization of Fields written by Andrey Nikolaevich Volobuev and published by . This book was released on 2018-09-24 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the book Quantization of Fields, the problems of electromagnetic and gravitational fields quantization are examined. Quantization of an electromagnetic field is carried out in photon space, i.e., in the reference system moving with a light velocity. This reference system accompanies a photon, therefore, it is possible to carry out the display of a photon to receive representation about its form and to investigate its parameters and properties. In photon space, the Schrodinger's nonlinear equation with logarithmic nonlinearity (which the wave function of a photon obeys) is found. On the basis of this equation, the problem of a material particle and photon interaction in photon space is investigated. It is shown that the interaction of a photon and material particle can be calculated in the closed form in photon space. Such calculations can be carried out only approximately by a method of the perturbations theory in Euclidian spaces. It is shown that during interaction of a photon and electron on the electron surface, there are waves propagating with a light velocity. The problem of a vacuum in the photon space and also multiphoton system in this space is investigated.During the quantization of a gravitational field, Einstein's equation for a field of gravitation as a basis is used. It is assumed that curved space-time (Riemann's space) is not quantized. Quantization is subjected to an energy-impulse tensor. It is supposed that the curvature of space-time due to the presence of the massive bodies does not create a strength condition in space. The part of corresponding components of an energy-impulse tensor is replaced with quantum sizes by a principle of formation for the quantum mechanics matrix form. On the basis of the quantum form of the gravitational field equation, the solution as a graviton-quantum of a gravitational field is received. It is shown that during the propagation of a graviton near a massive body, there is a pumping of the gravitation field energy in the graviton. Therefore, in the field of a massive body, the graviton is possible to register. When there is distance between the graviton and a massive body, its energy is pumped over back in a gravitation field of a massive body. Therefore, to registering the graviton far from a massive body is problematic. In the book, some standard questions of general relativity - the classical theory of gravitational radiation, the theory of gravitational waves, the Schwarzschild's theory of the solitary mass field, etc. - are submitted also.

Book Gravitation and Cogravitation

Download or read book Gravitation and Cogravitation written by Oleg D. Jefimenko and published by . This book was released on 2006 with total page 388 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Newtons theory of gravitation is the grandest and the most enduring physical theory ever created. Today, more than 300 years after it was first conceived, Newton''s theory of gravitation is still the basic working theory of astronomers and of all the scientists dealing with space exploration and celestial mechanics. However, Newton''s theory of gravitation has serious defects: it is incapable of accounting for certain fine details of planetary motion; it does not provide any information on the temporal aspect of gravitational interactions; it cannot be reconciled with the principle of causality and with the law of conservation of momentum when it is applied to time-dependent gravitational systems. This book extends and generalizes Newton''s theory of gravitation, makes it free from the above defects, makes it fully applicable to all possible gravitational systems, and provides a large variety of methods for calculating gravitational interactions between moving or stationary bodies of all shapes, sizes and configurations. The starting point of the generalization of Newton''s theory of gravitation developed in this book is the idea that gravitational interactions are mediated by two force fields: the gravitational field proper created by all masses and acting upon all masses, and the "cogravitational" field created by moving masses only and acting upon moving masses only. In accordance with the principle of causality, the two fields are represented by retarded field integrals, which, for static or slowly-varying gravitational systems, yield the ordinary Newtonian gravitational field. An immediate consequence of the generalized Newtonian theory of gravitation developed on this basis is that gravitational interactions normally involve at least five different forces associated with velocities, accelerations and rotations of interacting bodies. The effects of these forces are quite remarkable. Some examples: a fast-moving mass passing a spherically-symmetric body causes the latter to rotate; a mass moving with rapidly-decreasing velocity exerts both an attractive and a repulsive force on neighboring bodies; a rotating mass that is suddenly stopped causes neighboring bodies to rotate; the differential rotation of the Sun is caused by the planets orbiting around it.The generalized theory of gravitation is fully compatible with the laws of conservation of energy and momentum. A very important result of this compatibility is the definitive explanation of the process of conversion of gravitational field energy into the kinetic energy of bodies moving under the action of gravitational fields. The generalized theory of gravitation predicts the existence of gravitation-cogravitational waves and explains how such waves can be generated. The generalized theory of gravitation also indicates the existence of antigravitational (repulsive) fields and mass formations. A cosmological consequence of such fields and mass formations is a periodic expansion and contraction of the Universe. Another consequence is that the actual mass of the Universe may be much larger than the mass revealed by an analysis of gravitational attraction in the galaxies. It is natural to compare the various consequences of the generalized theory of gravitation with the consequences of the general relativity theory. In this regard the following three remarks should be made.First, there are no observable gravitational effects revealed by the general relativity theory that do not have their counterparts in the generalized theory of gravitation.Second, the generalized theory of gravitation describes a vastly larger number of gravitational effects than those described by the general relativity theory.Third, numerical values for gravitational effects predicted by the general relativity theory are usually different from the corresponding values predicted by the generalized theory of gravitation; the difference is almost always a consequence of greater complexity and depth of gravitational interactions revealed by the generalized theory of gravitation.Although this book presents the results of original research, it is written in the style of a textbook and contains numerous illustrative examples demonstrating various applications of the generalized Newtonian theory of gravitation developed in the book.

Book Understanding The Electromagnetic Field

Download or read book Understanding The Electromagnetic Field written by Basil S Davis and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2023-04-04 with total page 404 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Understanding the Electromagnetic Field is an entry level textbook for graduate students with a focus on the electromagnetic field. This book explores the relationship between the field and electric charges. The earlier part of the book deals with the derivation of Maxwell's equations from experimental laws. Next, the electromagnetic field is studied in the light of special relativity, leading logically to the quantum theory of radiation. Quantum mechanics is introduced as a quantum field theory of the electromagnetic field. The rules of quantum mechanics are developed in a systematic way, with relativistic quantum electrodynamics explaining some puzzles that emerge in classical electrodynamics. A chapter is devoted to the study of angular momentum in quantum mechanics, uniquely showing its importance in the understanding of the interaction between the field and charges. The geometry of the space in which the electromagnetic field is embedded is shown to be significant. General relativity provides a relationship between the geometry of space and the presence of matter. The final chapter is devoted to deriving the fundamental equations of general relativity. Mathematical expressions are derived for the effect of gravity on the electromagnetic field, and measurable results are calculated. The prerequisites of this book are Newtonian physics, calculus and linear algebra. Exercises are provided throughout the book.

Book Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields

Download or read book Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields written by Patrick Staebler and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2017-05-12 with total page 383 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everyone, whether they like it or not, is exposed to electromagnetic fields, most of the time, at very low levels. In this case, they are inconsequential, but they can cause adverse health effects when they become intense enough. This topic is complex and sensitive. After a reminder of the concepts of electromagnetic fields, the author presents some examples of sources of radiation in daily life and in the industrial or medical sectors. The biophysical and biological effects of these fields on the human body are detailed and the exposure limits are recalled. The exposure assessment and the implementation of the appropriate regulation within companies are also covered. Technically and practically, this book is aimed at people with a scientific background, risk prevention actors, health physicians, especially occupational doctors, and equipment designers.

Book Interactions between Electromagnetic Fields and Matter

Download or read book Interactions between Electromagnetic Fields and Matter written by Karl-Heinz Steiner and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2016-07-29 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Interactions between Electromagnetic Fields and Matter deals with the principles and methods that can amplify electromagnetic fields from very low levels of signals. This book discusses how electromagnetic fields can be produced, amplified, modulated, or rectified from very low levels to enable these for application in communication systems. This text also describes the properties of matter and some phenomenological considerations to the reactions of matter when an action of external fields results in a polarization of the particle system and changes the bonding forces existing in the matter. This book considers the above phenomena in detail by explaining matter as a conglomeration of charged mass points in the electromagnetic field. Quantum mechanics and Maxwell's theory can then account for the precise description of the interactions between the electromagnetic fields and matter. This book then describes special processes such as 1) the static and quasistatic interactions and 2) dynamic processes, particularly the resonance process. This text also defines a general form for electric and magnetic reactions using the generalized field equation. This book also cites the anharmonic oscillator and the single spin as different examples of electric and magnetic dipole interactions. This text is suitable for electrical engineers, radio technicians, physicists whose work is in quantum mechanics, and engineers interested in electro-magnetism theory.

Book Electromagnetic Processing of Materials

Download or read book Electromagnetic Processing of Materials written by Shigeo Asai and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-02-12 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is both a course book and a monograph. In fact, it has developed from notes given to graduate course students on materials processing in the years 1989 to 2006. Electromagnetic Processing of Materials (EPM), originates from a branch of materials science and engineering developed in the 1980s as a field aiming to create new materials and/or design processes by making use of various functions which appear when applying the electric and magnetic fields to materials. It is based on transport phenomena, materials processing and magnetohydrodynamics. The first chapter briefly introduces the history, background and technology of EPM. In the second chapter, the concept of transport phenomena is concisely introduced and in the third chapter the essential part of magnetohydrodynamics is transcribed and readers are shown that the concept of transport phenomena does not only apply to heat, mass and momentum, but also magnetic field. The fourth chapter describes electromagnetic processing of electrically conductive materials such as electromagnetic levitation, mixing, brake, and etc., which are caused by the Lorentz force. The fifth chapter treats magnetic processing of organic and non-organic materials such as magnetic levitation, crystal orientation, structural alignment and etc., which are induced by the magnetization force. This part is a new academic field named Magneto-Science, which focuses on the development of super-conducting magnets. This book is written so as to be understood by any graduate student in engineering courses but also to be of interest to engineers and researchers in industries.

Book Gravitoelectromagnetic Theories and Their Applications to Advanced Science and Technology

Download or read book Gravitoelectromagnetic Theories and Their Applications to Advanced Science and Technology written by T. Musha and published by Nova Science Publishers. This book was released on 2013 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose in writing this book is to give an historical overview of a new challenging field of research, and equip the readers with the mathematical basis of gravitoelectromagnetic theories and their applications to advanced science and technology. The first chapter introduces the historical background of electrogravity, especially on the Biefeld-Brown effect. The second chapter gives several explanations on the Biefeld-Brown effect and other related phenomena, with a concern on the Einsteins Unified Field Theory of Gravitation and electromagnetism and gravitational anomaly induced by the massive electrostatic charges of planets. The third chapter is concerned with the electrogravitic effect related to the zero point energy fluctuation in the vacuum, introduced from the standpoint of quantum electrodynamics. The fourth chapter discusses other electromagnetic gravity control devices including the Heim theory and their applications for space flight. The fifth chapter has shown that the Abraham force is the analogue of the Magnus force, and it thus represents the formation of vortex structures, of electromagnetic nature, in the physical vacuum: the electromagnetotoroid which can generate gravitational field. The sixth chapter deals with the plasma theory of the Universe and the role played by the gravito-electromagnetic forces generated by the plasma permeating the space between planets. And the last chapter shows the application on advanced aviation systems and future prospects of these technologies. This is a textbook written for both researchers and professional scientists, which provides the mathematical basis for readers to introduce the basic concept of gravitoelectromagnetic theories and also discusses their application to advanced science and technologies.
