The large in crease of travel on our river during the summer months, particularly on Sunday, besides the bringing to our city by rail of a large number of excursionists, calls for increased care, that our well-disposed and church-going population may not be disturbed by that class of people who rush to the seashore for a whiff of the sea breezes during the hot months. While perhaps we may not have the right, if We have the power, to deny a sail on the river to people who have been confined in the workshops during the week, and find that Sunday is the only day on which they can enjoy such a pleasure, it certainly is our duty to see that they keep good order on the streets.
