Book excerpt: "Contradiction after contradiction, said the man, the Bible is full of them." I wondered what Bible he was reading. Most apparent paradoxes resolve themselves with careful study and research. I love the old book, it is my God, speaking to me. Oh, there are love stories that would make a romance novelist author blush and tales of extra-terrestrials that surpass the fiction of television and movie space travel. There are also truths about how to enjoy life and how to live it to the fullest. I've spent many years in the book and I hope to spend more. For forty years I've studied the end days and what we are to expect in the future! A short course in what heaven is like and the condition of today's churches is included in this book. Warning, not all churches will be automatically represented in heaven. When I was born, there were less than two billion people on this earth, now, there are more than seven billion. The earth can't hold many more. Despite wars, that kill many, and crop failures the population growth soars. The earth's population is soon to peak. Soon, the end will come.

This book was released on 2020-08-31 with total page 153 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The concluding volume in a three part essay series, Where the Dust Settles, examines the characteristics and use of adobe ‘mud brick’ in the arid US Southwest. Considerations encompass its appropriation rectifying the absence of lumber, its use to fashion residences giving rise to communities serving Gold Rush driven prospectors, its adaptation to cultural expression at Stagecoach service facilities, its survival as architectural remnants into modern times, and its potential to yield significant Historical information. The previous volume II Dusty Trails to Shiny Rails explores the origins and administration of communication technology in the newly acquired American frontier. Volume I, Ancient Footpaths, examines the origins of pre Euro-American networks of Trails & Traces. Cumulatively this essay series provides an entertaining overview of this aspect of American ingenuity. Hybridizing History and Anthropology, using an approach tailored to preservation, analysis focuses on Trail characteristics in prehistoric, historic, and modern times with a final focus on the possible future of these irreplaceable linear artifacts.

Book The Watergate Deep Throat Secret

Download or read book The Watergate Deep Throat Secret written by Joseph M. Webb and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2022-11-16 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Watergate 'Deep Throat' Secret: A New Investigative Story of Bernstein, Woodward, and the FBI’s Mark Felt By: Joseph M. Webb The Watergate era, that 1970s decade of Nixon, Woodward and Bernstein, gave us also that strange character with the obscene moniker, DEEP THROAT—an unidentified character for more than thirty years. This book is, in short, the story of DEEP THROAT; not only who he was—he was quite real—but the politically obscene things he did from his Number Two position within the FBI itself. DEEP THROAT was, in fact, Mark Felt, the FBI’s feared “hatchet man,” a powerful role that he played with glee and panache. What emerges in these pages is a highly original story, one filled with new Watergate research and observations. Here, too, are serious challenges to the truthfulness of the famous Woodward/Bernstein (and Robert Redford) book and movie, All the President’s Men. These pages also include a remarkable assortment of declassified FBI documents about the Watergate break-in and its aftermath, documents replete with examples of Mark Felt’s grotesque FBI “signature”—a large, saber-shaped capital “F,” which, in Felt’s case, could stand for many things. As a journalist and journalism professor for more than 50 years, the author of this book began his Watergate research even as the events of that era were unfolding in the ‘70s. Webb, Woodward and Bernstein are the same age and were prominent newspaper reporters at the same time—they in Washington DC and he in Chicago and the Illinois state capitol. Webb, who has two doctorate degrees and a dozen earlier books, has collected, analyzed and documented volumes about the Watergate story over all the years since it began. For anyone not yet acquainted with the Watergate past, this book is a rich feast indeed. Anyone interested in American politics will become caught up in Watergate’s chicanery, its conniving, its cowardice, its cruelty, its very public lies and deceits, its villains along with a few heroes. As you read these pages, you, too, will get caught up in this provocative Great American DEEP THROAT Story.

A new and more receptive way of knowing is needed, and is found in this course for the heart. "A Course of Love" was received by Mari Perron and given to be a "new" course in miracles.
