Download or read book Cash Flow Diary written by J. Massey and published by West Egg Enterprises. This book was released on 2014-03 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: J. Massey wasn't always a highly skilled investor, but through action steps that he shares in this book, he amassed an impressive portfolio of hundreds of properties in just six years using an intensive approach to learning and then putting to use what he learned immediately and at the Speed of Instruction . Starting from less than zero, he used other people's cash and credit to invest in properties, from single-family homes to multi-family dwellings and large apartment complexes to commercial properties. He now owns businesses and teaches others to do exactly what he does today with nothing held back. This insider's look into the world of real estate investing and building a successful business gives readers the absolute road map to their own success as entrepreneurs and investors. Author J. Massey is not an extraordinary human being; he did not have a formal education beyond high school; he entered the real estate market at one of the worst times in history for that industry; his wife was critically ill and he was injured so he could not work. What makes J. Massey different and very successful as a businessman and real estate investor is that he took action and then kept taking action steps - learning and earning, learning and earning - to get him where he is today. He invites readers to join him; his hope is that he can motivate people to make changes in their lives that benefit them, their families and on for generations to come. It is his mission to provide clean, safe, affordable housing. This book is one way to spread his mission and teach others to do the same."

Download or read book Call of the Reed Warbler written by Charles Massy and published by Chelsea Green Publishing. This book was released on 2018-08-31 with total page 530 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Charles Massy has written a definitive masterpiece that takes its place along with the writings of Aldo Leopold, Wendell Berry, Masanobu Fukuoka, Humberto Maturana, and Michael Pollan. No work has more brilliantly defined regenerative agriculture and the breadth of its restorative impact upon human health, biodiversity, climate, and ecological intelligence." --Paul Hawken In Call of the Reed Warbler, Charles Massy explores regenerative agriculture and the vital connection between our soil and our health. It is the story of how a grassroots revolution—a true underground insurgency—can save the planet, help reduce and reverse climate change, and build healthy people and healthy communities, pivoting significantly on our relationship with growing and consuming food. Using his personal experience as a touchstone—from an unknowing, chemical-using farmer with dead soils to a radical ecologist farmer carefully regenerating a 2000-hectare property to a state of natural health—Massy tells the real story behind industrial agriculture and the global profit-obsessed corporations driving it. With evocative stories, he shows how other innovative and courageous farmers are finding a new way. At stake is not only a revolution in human health and in our communities, but the very survival of the planet. For farmers, backyard gardeners, food buyers, health workers, policy makers, and public leaders alike, Call of the Reed Warbler offers a tangible path forward and a powerful and moving paean of hope. It’s not too late to regenerate the earth. Call of the Reed Warbler shows the way forward for the future of our food supply, our planet, and our health.

Download or read book The Life and Crimes of Railroad Bill written by Larry L. Massey and published by University Press of Florida. This book was released on 2015-09-11 with total page 137 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For over a year, Railroad Bill eluded sheriffs, private detectives hired by the L&N line, and bounty hunters who traveled across the country to match guns with the legendary desperado. The African American outlaw was wanted on multiple charges of robbery and murder, and rumor had it that he stole from the rich to give to the poor. He terrorized busy train lines from east of Mobile to the Florida Panhandle, but as soon as the lawmen got close, he disappeared into the bayous and pine forests--until one day his luck ran out, and he was gunned down inside a general store in Atmore, Alabama. Little is known about Railroad Bill before his infamy--not his real name or his origins. His first recorded crime, carrying a repeating rifle without a license, led him into a gunfight with a deputy and made him a wanted man throughout Florida in 1894. His most celebrated escape--a five-day foot chase with scores of men and several bloodhounds--led to tales of Railroad's supernatural ability to transmogrify into an animal or inanimate object at will. As his crimes progressed from robbing boxcars to wounding trainmen to murdering sheriffs, more and more reward money was offered for his capture--dead or alive. Today, Railroad Bill is the subject of many folk songs popularized by singers such as Paul McCartney, Taj Mahal, Gillian Welch, and Ramblin' Jack Elliot. But who was he? Where did he come from? What events led to his murderous spree? And why did some view him as a hero? In Railroad Bill, Larry Massey separates fact from myth and teases out elusive truths from tall tales to ultimately reveal the man behind the bandit's mask.
