He has only received a tiny amount of the money back, which has now doubled due to interest. Has spoken to Mr. [Peirce] and other associates of Knox, and believes from them that Knox would be willing to help. Is now old and in ill-health, and asks Knox to repay as much of the debt as he can without it being very inconvenient for you.
