This book was released on 2016-11-30 with total page 450 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Marine Corps Techniques Publication MCTP 6-10B (Formerly MCRP 6-11B) Marine Corps Values: A User's Guide for Discussion Leaders 2 May 2016 The User's Guide to Marine Corps Values is to be used as a tool to help ensure that the values of the Corps continue to be reinforced and sustained in all Marines after being formally instilled in entry level training. This document is a compendium of discussion guides developed and used by Marine Corps formal schools. The guides are part of the formal inculcation of values in young Marines, enlisted and officer, during the entry level training process. This guide is designed to be used as a departure point for discussing the topics as a continuation of the process of sustaining values within the Marine Corps. The User's Guide also serves as a resource for leaders to understand the "talk" and the "walk" expected of them as leaders. New graduates of the Recruit Depots and The Basic School have been exposed to these lessons and expect to arrive at their first duty assignments and MOS schools to find these principles and standards exhibited in the Marines they encounter. Leaders must remember that as long as there is but one Marine junior to them, they are honor bound to uphold the customs and traditions of the Corps and to always "walk the walk and talk the talk." We are the "parents" and "older siblings" of the future leaders of the Marine Corps. America is depending on us to ensure the Marines of tomorrow are ready and worthy of the challenges of this obligation. Teaching, reinforcement, and sustainment of these lessons can take place in the field, garrison, or formal school setting. Instructional methodology and media may vary depending on the environment and location of the instruction. However, environment should not be considered an obstacle to the conduct or quality of the instruction. This guide has been developed as a generic, universal training tool that is applicable to all Marines regardless of grade. Discussion leaders should include personal experiences that contribute to the development of the particular value or leadership lesson being discussed

This book was released on 2016-12-07 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Marine Corps Techniques Publication MCTP 12-10A (Formerly MCWP 3-35.1) Mountain Warfare Publication 2 May 2016, is a reference for all unit commanders and their staffs (trained or untrained in mountain warfare) and all leaders from the company level through regiment or brigade for use in operations that occur in mountainous terrain, snow, or cold weather. This publication is designed to be used with Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 3-35.1A, Small Unit Leader's Guide to Mountain Warfare Operations; MCRP 3-35.1B, Mountain Leader's Guide to Winter Operations; MCRP 3-35.1C, Mountain Leader's Guide to Mountain Warfare Operations; and MCRP 3-35.1D, Cold Region Operations. These publications cover a broad range of unit planning considerations that can be used across a range of military operations. This publication references formal individual and collective mountain warfare training programs available within the Department of Defense. Because of the rapid turnover in personnel, operating tempo, multitude of training commitments, and constraint of training resources for these environments, the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center cannot train all Marines. Therefore, this publication-used in conjunction with MCRP 3-35.1A, MCRP 3-35.1B, MCRP 3-35.1C, and MCRP 3-35.1D-identifies the skills that Marines need to be successful in mountainous, snow, or cold weather environments. During combat, these publications provide Marines with the doctrinal references they need to augment the instruction they receive from their unit's qualified mountain leaders. This publication supersedes Fleet Marine Force Manual (FMFM) 7-29, Mountain Operations, dated January 1980; FMFM 7-21, Tactical Fundamentals for Cold Weather Operations, dated September 1992; and FMFM 7-22, Tactical Fundamentals for Aviation in Cold Weather Operations, dated May 1991.

Book Information Management MCTP 3 30B Formerly MCWP 3 40 2

Download or read book Information Management MCTP 3 30B Formerly MCWP 3 40 2 written by Us Marine Corps and published by . This book was released on 2018-09-14 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Information management by itself is an enabler of command and control rather than a discrete element of it. The pillars of command and control are people; information; and the command and control (C2) support structure, which includes organizations, procedures, equipment, facilities, training, education, and doctrine. Figure 1-1 depicts the information flow of these elements. Marine Corps Doctrinal Publication (MCDP) 6, Command and Control, refers to information management; however, it provides no specific definition for it and focuses instead on the definition and elements of command and control conceptually. This publication, however, focuses on information management (IM) processes and procedures as a C2 enabler, integrating people and technology with efficient processes for improved commander situational awareness and focusing information for decisions at the operational and tactical levels of war.
