This book was released on 1996 with total page 140 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. This report describes the part of this project that developed and released two varieties of alpine bluegrass (Poa alpina), a cool-season, perennial bunch grass. The report begins with descriptions of the origin and breeding, varietal characteristics, performance, utilisation, and seed distribution of the two varieties. The report then describes the development of these varieties and their field trials, agronomic practices suitable for large-scale seed production of these slender wheatgrass varieties, and management practices for use in reclamation.
