Se ha querido presentar además estos temas desde el punto de vista de la defensa y protección de los derechos de los sujetos más débiles, incluyendo contenidos desde una perspectiva de género y de defensa de la igualdad real de la familia y ciudadanos en general. -- En este sentido, ha sido un objetivo fundamental de los autores innovar y modernizar las materias tratadas y la forma de contarlas, con la finalidad de acercarlas a estudiantes en su primer acceso a la realidad práctica. Para ello se ha creado específicamente un acceso virtual u online del lector a una serie de aspectos imprescindibles para la adecuada comprensión y estudio de los contenidos, introduciendo temas de debate para cada una de las 24 lecciones del libro, para que el alumnado se enfrente a la reflexión y análisis de cuestiones jurídicas complejas y discutidas, y adjuntando un conjunto de casos prácticos con o sin sentencia, acompañados muchas veces de material práctico muy relevante, consistente en modelos de documentos de la vida práctica, tanto extrajudiciales como judiciales.
