Esta obra se centra fundamentalmente en seis grandes bloques temáticos, que se estudian pormenorizadamente y de manera rigurosa y crítica en diversos capítulos: el análisis del orden jurisdiccional social (sus fuentes reguladoras, su organización, su personal y sus competencias); la configuración general del proceso laboral, sus principios básicos y su objeto; el proceso laboral ordinario o “común”; los llamados “procesos especiales”; los medios de impugnación (los recursos y su función procesal); y los procesos de ejecución. En la obra se toman en consideración y se da cuenta sistemáticamente de las últimas reformas normativas, así como las novedades jurisprudenciales y doctrinales que se han venido produciendo en relación al tratamiento de numerosas cuestiones procesales del Orden Social de la Jurisdicción.
