Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I dedicate this book to my parents who worked hard to raise me and trusted me so much they contributed from their retirement fund in order to ensure I completed my engineering degree. I also dedicate this to my wife Corinne, who has always believed in and supported me. She gave up an attractive pay package and went into financial planning career with me, as well as bringing up three children and giving her personal attention to our special needs child, Alexander. Alexander has been our inspiration and helps cultivate our value systems. We became more down-to-earth and learned to appreciate life. I hope this book can give readers a simpler and easier approach to planning out financials and other key matters before their time on Planet Earth is up.

Download or read book How to Heal Toxic Thoughts written by Sandra Ingerman and published by Union Square + ORM. This book was released on 2010-09-10 with total page 75 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Ingerman’s creative, multi-pronged plan for healing is gentle, practical and encouraging, making it a fine resource for the overstressed.” —Publishers Weekly We may not realize it consciously, but negative feelings can be as toxic as physical poisons, wearing on us and causing depression, illness, and burnout. But how can we keep ourselves safe in a world too often ruled by resentment, jealousy, rage, and stress? How to Heal Toxic Thoughts provides the cure, and it lies in the ancient principle of alchemy. Many people think that the old alchemists were trying to turn lead into gold. But in actuality, as Sandra Ingerman—a practicing shaman and psychologist—reveals, they were metaphorically working on transforming heavy leaded consciousness into gold light consciousness. Using their theories, Ingerman offers strategies for processing the harmful thoughts and emotions that hit us throughout our day. Instead of sending and receiving lethal energy, you will learn, through meditations, visualizations, and other exercises, how to radiate positive thoughts and shield yourself from those that are destructive. Her methods are simple . . . but they can change you, others, and the world. “This wonderful little book, filled with healing stories and wisdom, will change people’s lives. Sandra Ingerman is to be commended for she has created very good medicine indeed.” —Hank Wesselman, PhD, and Jill Kuykendall, RPT, authors of Spirit Medicine “If you sincerely want a more healthy, compassionate approach to life’s challenging moments, this book can help enormously. How to Heal Toxic Thoughts is like a weeklong retreat delivered in an easy-to-follow format.” —Leonard Felder, PhD, author of Keeping Your Heart Open
Download or read book Elephant Crumbs Journal written by Ronald-Osaze S.M. Griffin and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-12-27 with total page 423 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Elephant Crumbs Journal is a God-inspired love book! God talked, I listened, and then I wrote however He used my spirit, my heart, and mind, experiences, and voice, to get His points across. For example, Father wants us to love each other the same way He loves us. He considers us family regardless of the country we were birthed in, the color of our skin, education, or our financial status. He wants us to look at who we are now, juxtaposed against whom we were supposed to be, and based on His purpose for creating us. He wants us to not be angry with Adam and Eve for their error in judgment. What if Adam and Eve were teenagers, madly in love with each other? Do you remember your first love? Did you make sense? Did you obey your parents when they said, "Don't see that person"? He wants us to consider the question, "What do we need to do now to become the original Adam before sin?" He wants us to recognize that Adam as one person was male and female. However, after Adam slept, he was Adam and Eve""two people, male and female, husband and wife, the first, the image of marriage! Elephant Crumbs Journal speaks to Love, looks for Love, loses Love even to death, begs for Loves forgiveness! Sometimes it's the original Adam speaking, other times it's the Adam that should have been!

Download or read book Dancing on His Grave written by Barbara Richards and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2007-02-12 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My earliest memories are only fear. A great hurting fear that made my heart as big as a pumpkin that welled up into my throat, choking me, dizzying my head, turning my legs to rubber. Fear of moving and making noise, fear of sleep that was invaded by terrible nightmares, fear of waking up to the daily beatings for wet beds, fear of the dark, fear of guns and knives, fear of loud noises, fear of making a mistake, fear of forgetting, fear of Mom going away, and most of all, fear of the constant presence we called Daddy. These are my oldest sister's words. Dancing on His Grave is a memoir set on an eastern Montana ranch between 1930 and 1955. My four sisters, my mother and I all contribute first person narrative to this story, along with excerpts from the extensive journals my mother kept throughout her life. It is the story of five sisters who survived unspeakable deprivation and abuse, sexual and physical, at the hands of our sadistic father. A friend gave me his strong opinion. As the psychologist for the prison in Deer Lodge, he said, I meet inmates with stories like yours all the time. What makes your story unique is the outcome. This story is not about him. This is about five little girls who literally survived him, excelled in school, married and raised families of normal, productive, contributing citizens. My father was not an alcoholic or drug addict. All his abuse was administered cold sober. I am convinced he was not mentally ill, in the legal or moral sense of the phrase. He knew right from wrong, but as a narcissistic sociopath, he believed that the world revolved around him, so the rules of decency that other people follow did not apply. The only rule he held himself to, was 'Don't get caught'. The state of being purely evil does not constitute mental illness. By my estimation, he was born without a conscience, and perhaps without a soul. The most important message of this story is the resilience and strength of the human spirit.
