What were the perceived intentions, messages and problems of this treatise, the last within the Organon? This book presents newly discovered fragments from the lost ancient commentaries by Aspasios, Herminos, Alexander and Syrianos on Aristotle’s Sophistical Refutations. After presenting the fragments, which were preserved by the humanist and philosopher Agostino Nifo (ca. 1473-1538), the introduction makes the case for their authenticity. There follows an edition of the fragments, accompanied by a translation and detailed commentary. This material sheds new light on the history and philosophy of logic, and especially on the theory of fallacies. It further documents how the Sophistical Refutations were interpreted and used in ancient Aristotelianism. Finally, it complements our knowledge of the philosophy of two major Aristotelians, Herminos and his pupil, the great Alexander of Aphrodisias. This study is of immediate relevance to readers with an interest in philosophy, logic, history, and/or Greco-Roman antiquity. Chapter One and Two have a briefing of main assertions of Special Relativity Theory (SRT) and raise questions and list out the inconsistent of SRT with basic laws and realities of physics. The following chapters reveal and refute the fundamental mistakes and flaws of every assertion of SRT one by one in details. The time dilation assertion of SRT is refuted systematically based on wave-particle duality of light in Chapter Three and Chapter Four. In Chapter Five and Chapter Six, the inconsistent of Doppler Effect of SRT are revealed and clarified based on physical reality and functionality. Einstein’s Lorentz transformation is refuted theoretically and practically in Chapter Seven and Eight firstly by clarifying that the light pulse must be lasting a delta time ?t > 0, then the moving frame X’ is no more the light source so that the basic formula x’= ct’ is wrong fundamentally. Some points of Michelson-Morley experiment are clarified in Chapter Nine. Main deductions and conclusions of SRT are refuted in Chapter Ten. Existence of ether as medium of light wave is verified theoretically and practically in Chapter Eleven. GRT is falsified in Chapter Twelve based on re-discovering and re-clarifying some properties of light and EM wave.

In the last several decades, scholars, activists, laypeople and clergy have attempted to expose and eliminate the struggles between Jews and Christians. This collaborative effort brings together the voices of Christian scholar Ron Miller and Jewish scholar Laura Bernstein to further explore the roots of anti-Semitism in Christian faith and scripture. In a probing interfaith dialogue, Miller and Bernstein trace the Jewish-Christian schism to its very source in the first book of the New Testament, the Gospel of Matthew.
