Download or read book Maggie and the Christmas Elf written by Jay Tarzwell and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2021-11-24 with total page 30 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you love sweet Christmas stories for children, then you will love Maggie and the Christmas Elf! It tells the story of a young girl whose letter to Santa asks for elf. When Maggie's letter is opened at the North Pole by Liam, one of Santa's elves, he hatches a plan to make Maggie's wish come true. Read along to see what fun Liam gets up to with his new friends Maggie and her brother, Thomas! About Maggie and the Christmas Elf This story was born out of Margaret's request in her 2003 letter to Santa for an elf. Margaret was then six, in the First Grade, and still in the throes of childhood wonder. When we asked her why she wanted an elf, she told us it was so he could make her toys whenever she wanted! As we laughed at this brilliant request, I turned the idea over in my mind, thinking it would make a wonderful story. In early 2004 the main parts of the story were developed, and then, in 2018 (yes 2018!), I finally figured out the ending. Once finished, an illustrator brought it to life as you see it here. I regret it took so long, but I'm pleased to have finally finished it! Maggie, aka Margaret, Liam the Elf, and Thomas are siblings. Margaret and Thomas are adults now, living their own lives. Liam sadly passed away in infancy, the result of an inborn genetic disorder. Like his namesake, Liam wasn't quite ready for this world. A beautiful baby boy, he left his mark on us before being taken back, and not a day goes by where we don't think of him. About the Author Jay Tarzwell is a career military officer, slow writer, and amateur historian. He is married to Sheena Cullen, and together they are the proud parents of Margaret, Liam, and Thomas. Sheena and Jay live in Ottawa.

Book Bound to the Dark Elf

Download or read book Bound to the Dark Elf written by Lisa Kumar and published by Lisa Kumar. This book was released on 2014-08-16 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From award-winning author Lisa Kumar comes a contemporary fantasy romance of a banished dark elf with a torturous past who finds his salvation--and the warming of his heart--in a mortal woman. Liar, murderer, traitor … these are all names Eamon has been called, and he wears them with pride. Depending on which side one falls, those titles are only too true. But it's all part of his orchestrated manipulations. Up until the day he was banished from the fae land of Eria, he had schemed for millennia to protect his people, even resorting to murder. As punishment, the Erian king exiled him on Earth to live amongst the lowliest creatures of all — humans. Yet one frustrating and captivating woman shakes his ingrained beliefs to the core. Newly minted physical therapist Caralyn Alberts has been drawing images of a handsome, otherworldly stranger for as long as she can remember. She's chalked it up as a fluke occurrence of life. But when she finds the arrogant Eamon sprawled out on the ice at a local park, her life becomes just as slippery and dangerous as the hauntingly familiar elf. Enemies, friends, and unwilling partners inundate them from all sides. When Eamon's treacherous past makes a reappearance, they'll have to trust each other in order to keep their hearts — and their very lives — intact. This story is the third book in the Mists of Eria series and contains adult content and mentions past physical and sexual abuse. This book was previously published under the same title and has a new cover and fresh edits. The Mists of Eria series will be a crossover with The Faerin series. Kaiden and Ashlee from Falling for the Driade, the first The Faerin book, appear in this story. Both series are perfect for lovers of elf (fae)/human romance. Keywords: fantasy romance, elf romance, wicked elf, wicked fae, Elise Kova, Grace Draven, Sarah J. Mass, dangerous alliance, elf-human romance, fae-human romance, aristocratic hero, anti-hero, dark hero, human heroine, forced proximity, fae intrigue, morally gray hero, morally grey hero
