Book Macro Mind Power

Download or read book Macro Mind Power written by Rebecca Clark and published by David De Angelis. This book was released on 2023-12-07 with total page 305 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is there one fantastic Primal Power in the universe whose force can be harnessed and utilized to guide you to ultimate freedom and all the joys of triumphant living? The answer is an unqualified Yes! And it's called Macro-Mind power. Ancient philosophers always thought of man as a counterpart of the universe and expressed the idea of man's relationship to the universe by the use of two related words-microcosm and macrocosm. The former meant "little universe" and the latter, "large universe." Upon studying this viewpoint, we can understand the Macrocosm to represent the entire warp and woof of creation. The Macrocosm is the known and the unknown, the visible and the invisible, stretching eternally and encompassing within its framework the entire schema of universes, galaxies, stars, sun systems, planets, and monadic worlds. Perhaps even worlds within worlds. There are two manifestations of Macrocosmic Mind controlling all elements of the Universe. 1. There is the Universal Consciousness, or God Mind, involving certain laws which were established in the beginning of creation and are unwritten, but immutable, laws of the Universe. These laws are fixed in the Universal Consciousness and whenever there is no interference, or no special application of the Universal Consciousness, these laws are fulfilled by every element that we find existing in the universe. 2. There is the creative power of man's mind, which is a part of the Universal Creative Power, and this mind power can affect the elements of the Universe by applying other Universal Laws and making the elements obey. This remarkable book gives you the ancient and one-time secret techniques for releasing the Macrocosmic Power of your mind. Know this truth: EVERY GOOD THING YOU ARE SEEKING IS ALREADY SEEKING YOU

Instead of relying on my memory, I quoted from corroborating texts, and noting where I differed with the presented material.

Book Macro Cultural Psychology

Download or read book Macro Cultural Psychology written by Carl Ratner and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2012 with total page 540 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book articulates a bold, new, systematic theory of psychology, culture, and their interrelation. It explains how macro cultural factors -- social institutions, cultural artifacts, and cultural concepts -- are the cornerstones of society and how they form the origins and characteristics of psychological phenomena. This theory is used to explain the diversity of psychological phenomena such as emotions, self, intelligence, sexuality, memory, reasoning, perception, developmental processes, and mental illness. Ratner draws upon Lev Vygotsky's sociocultural psychology, Bronfenbrenner's ecological psychology, as well as work in sociology, anthropology, history, and geography, to explore the political implications and assumptions of psychological theories regarding social policy and reform. The theory outlined here addresses current theoretical and political issues such as agency, realism, objectivity, subjectivism, structuralism, postmodernism, and multiculturalism. In this sense, the book articulates a systematic political philosophy of mind to examine numerous approaches to psychology, including indigenous psychology, cross-cultural psychology, activity theory, discourse analysis, mainstream psychology, and evolutionary psychology.

Book The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior

Download or read book The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior written by H. Cenk Sözen and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2022-07-15 with total page 187 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior aims to gather all the micro- and meso-level topics about the dark side of organizations that may guide management practitioners, researchers, and students. The history before the modern human civilization is full of multiple types of conflicts, wars, struggles and violence. Modernization project has constructed a desired reality of human being and has somehow concealed the dark side of human interactions. Through this outlook, this book explores the realities of the dark side of organizations and how these realities may have the potential to change previous assumptions about business life. The field of organizational behavior is dominated by the positive aspects of the business life, but conflict, war, struggle, and violence have always been a part of history. It is not possible to isolate organizational participants from negative emotions like hostility, dislike, hate, jealousy, rage and revenge. A manager may devote most of their time to cope with conflicts, deviant behaviors, ambitious individuals, gossips and dysfunctional rivalry among employees. It is evident that negative events and interactions among employees cost more time and energy for a manager than the positive side of organizational life. Therefore, exploring the realities of the dark side of organizations may have the potential to change previous assumptions about business life. This book will be of interest to researchers, academics, practitioners, and advanced students in the fields of organizational studies and behavior, human resource management, employment relations, and organizational psychology.

Book Emergence in Mind

  • Author : Cynthia Macdonald
  • Publisher : OUP Oxford

Download or read book Emergence in Mind written by Cynthia Macdonald and published by OUP Oxford. This book was released on 2010-04-29 with total page 304 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There have long been controversies about how it is that minds can fit into a physical universe. Emergence in Mind presents new essays by a distinguished group of philosophers investigating whether mental properties can be said to 'emerge' from the physical processes in the universe. Such emergence requires mental properties to be different from physical properties, and much of the discussion relates to what the consequences of such a difference might be in areas such as freedom of the will, and the possibility of scientific explanations of non-physical (for example, social) phenomena. The volume also extends the debate about emergence by considering the independence of chemical properties from physical properties, and investigating what would need to be the case for there to be groups that could be said to exercise rationality.
