Dietary ecology was also studied to investigate the food plants eaten by anoas, the proportions of food plants in their diets, seasonal changes in their diets and the availability of the food plants that were potentially eaten. Diets of Rusa deer and the Sulawesi warty pig were also assessed and similiarity and/or dissimiliarity of the forest ungulates' diets compared.
