The second part of this book was written in the late summer and fall of the same year, and picks up on many of the earlier themes, though seeking to penetrate much more deeply into the great Mystery at the heart of the Gospel--the union of the heavenly Bridegroom and his Bride, and indeed the eternal virginal intimacy of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
