Connexions est un outil précieux pour les éducateurs qui souhaitent aborder le discours de haine en ligne sous l’angle des droits de l’homme, tant dans le système éducatif formel que dans le cadre de l’éducation informelle. Ce manuel a été conçu pour travailler avec des apprenants de 13 à 18 ans, mais les activités proposées peuvent être adaptées à d’autres groupes d’âge.

The book demonstrates that soft law is taken into consideration at the national level and it clarifies the extent to which soft law can have legal and practical effects for individuals and national authorities. The national case studies highlight the points of convergence or divergence in the way in which judges and administrators approach soft law, while reflecting on the reasons for and consequences of various national practices. A series of horizontal studies connect this research to the rich literature on new modes of governance, by revisiting traditional theories on soft law, and by reflecting on the potential of such instruments to undermine or to foster rule of law values.

The Code was published in 2015 on the occasion the work of the international congress of judicial officers in Madrid (Spain), laying the foundations for universal harmonisation of the rules of enforcement. Since then, the UIHJ has been working on building a set of standards, to provide all States with simple, effective principles to allow all judicial systems to use a common language.
