Pour que la vitrine joue pleinement son rôle, il faut que l'on puisse percevoir la personnalité de l'équipe officinale. Il est aussi intéressant de proposer tous les types de vitrines : commerciale, informative et évènementielle. Ceci permet de mettre en avant les différentes facettes du méier d'officinal, commerçant et professionnel de santé. L'étude réalisée sur des patients d'une officine de Rodez (12) montre que les clients sont plutôt réceptifs et même en demande de vitrines qui leur correspondent. Ils sont nombreux à les avoir remarqués et certains peuvent même les décrire avec précision, preuve de leur intérêts. En revanche, lorsqu'ils ne se sentent pas concernés par le sujet exposé, ils sont beaucoup moins attentifs. Par ailleurs, les ventes des produits associés à la vitrine augmentent lors de son exposition, ce qui montre aussi l'intérêt des clients pour celle-ci mais aussi celui des pharmacies à en prendre soin. Les équipes officinales quant à elles, sont assez imaginatives pour proposer des vitrines personnalisées, originales et surtout variées à leurs clients. Souvent, elles utilisent de la PLV (Publicité sur Lieu de Vente) qu'elles accessoirisent avec des décors. Les pharmacies qui font attention à leur communication par la vitrine ont d'ailleurs souvent constaté des remarques de clients voire des augmentations de ventes de leur produit. Cet outil de communication qu'est la vitrine n'est pas laissée à l'abandon par les équipes officinales et les clients y sont réceptifs.
