Elle vise à dégager les marques de la négociation du sens et des ajustements d'expression qui favorisent la construction de la compétence de communication non native individualisée des apprenants (Interlangue). Cette recherche linguistique en acquisition des langues est bâtie sur une étude épistémologique et notionnelle de l'Interlangue et de son cadrage dans une dynamique de communication asymétrique/symétrique (ou exolingue/endolingue). La classe de langues y est considérée comme terrain d'étude, d'où un recueil de corpus dans des contextes diversifiés, en Chine et en France, lors d'activités de simulation. Une analyse pragmatique de ces données (selon le modèle hiérarchique-séquentiel élaboré par Bange) révèle l'interdépendance des activités et des contextes. La simulation est un événement de communication qui génère des contraintes discursives fortes, impliquant un repérage dans une pluralité de cadres de référence (réalité/fiction, classe/simulation). La recherche fait apparaître les modalités d'un contrat de communication, nodal dans l'imbrication de ces cadres hétérogènes et portant principalement sur les conditions de succès des actes de référence. Les définitions des situations de communication négociées interactivement, la place de la composante pragmatique dans la compétence de communication et les notions même d'Interlangue et de communication exolingue/endolingue sont ensuite réexaminées. Ainsi, dans et par une analyse des stratégies mises en place pour surmonter les obstacles de la communication et des séquences normatives conduites entre interactants, la recherche met-elle en évidence les interrelations entre Interlangue, communications exolingue et endolingue. Sont déterminées certaines configurations contextuelles et conditions contractuelles de la communication favorables à l'apprentissage des langues.

Elle porte exclusivement sur le développement de la compétence d'expression orale en français par le biais de l'échange écrit instantané en ligne. Nous sommes partis du constat selon lequel l'expression orale constituait un grand handicap chez les étudiants chinois et que les pratiques d'enseignement en classe présentielle étaient insuffisantes pour y remédier. Dans ce contexte, nous avons pensé aux TICE et posé la question : les TICE peuvent-elles aider à créer un dispositif d'enseignement/apprentissage qui bonifie les activités orales, complète l'enseignement du français oral et permette aux étudiants chinois en FLE d'améliorer significativement leur expression orale lorsqu'ils s'expriment en français ? Pour répondre à cette question principale qui a soutenu la rédaction de la présente recherche, nous avons centré nos efforts sur le traitement pédagogique de ce phénomène en nous référant à l'hypothèse selon laquelle l'échange écrit instantané en ligne, en tant que méthode auxiliaire, peut aider les étudiants chinois inscrits au programme de français langue étrangère, à perfectionner leur expression orale. L'examen de cette hypothèse, fondée sur l'alliance entre les principales théories de l'apprentissage et les technologies de l'information et de la communication pour l'enseignement, nous a permis de dévoiler la collaboration étroite qu'il y a entre expression écrite et expression orale pour l'amélioration de cette dernière chez les étudiants chinois. Les résultats issus de nos expérimentations ont à leur tour confirmés notre hypothèse, certes, mais ils ont également ouvert de nouvelles pistes de réflexion par rapport à la problématique que nous avons soulevée. Il faudra bien les explorer dans des recherches futures.

Cette étude porte sur les pratiques de politesse que des étudiants chinois, étudiants de français langue étrangère, mettent en œuvre dans les situations de communication interculturelle avec des expatriés français qui résident dans la province de Guangdong en Chine. Les stratégies de politesse de ces étudiants sont analysées au travers le récit de leurs réussites et de leurs échecs. Dans la communication entre expatriés et étudiants en stage dans des entreprises françaises implantées dans la province de Guangdong, ces derniers se trouvent souvent dans une position basse ou inférieure. Même s'ils utilisent la politesse comme une stratégie rééquilibrant cette communication inégale, leur réussite est souvent perturbée par les implicites dus à l'écart entre ces deux cultures distantes. Ces implicites rendent les messages de politesse incompréhensibles ou mal interprétés. Pour l'acquisition d'une compétence interculturelle dans le cadre universitaire chinois, nous proposons l'enseignement / apprentissage de la politesse comme étant l'une des entrées requises...
