Download or read book From Sufism to Ahmadiyya written by Adil Hussain Khan and published by Indiana University Press. This book was released on 2015-04-06 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Ahmadiyya Muslim community represents the followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835–1908), a charismatic leader whose claims of spiritual authority brought him into conflict with most other Muslim leaders of the time. The controversial movement originated in rural India in the latter part of the 19th century and is best known for challenging current conceptions of Islamic orthodoxy. Despite missionary success and expansion throughout the world, particularly in Western Europe, North America, and parts of Africa, Ahmadis have effectively been banned from Pakistan. Adil Hussain Khan traces the origins of Ahmadi Islam from a small Sufi-style brotherhood to a major transnational organization, which many Muslims believe to be beyond the pale of Islam.

Download or read book The Blessed Model of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa and the Caricatures written by Mirza Masroor Ahmad and published by Islam International. This book was released on 2006 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Shock waves of indignation ran across the Muslim world following the recent publication of offensive and crude caricatures of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in some parts of Europe. The un-informed, as ever, misled by the mullah gave in to public display of rage and rampant chaos ensued. Midst this confusion of an undeniably distressing time for all Muslims, spoke the voice of reason, calm and peace, precisely in line with the teachings of the 'prince of peace' himself, the Holy Prophet (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This was the voice of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his Helper) that unfolded the reality of the Islamic ways and means to respond to injustice; calling for peace, reasoning, endeavour to enlighten the world with the power of the pen and ultimately to always put one's trust in sincere prayers. He delivered a series of five faith-inspiring and enlightening Friday Sermons on the subject that are a beckon of light for anyone in this often perplexing world that we live in. These Friday Sermons are being presented in this booklet.

Download or read book Understanding Salat written by Rizwan Khan and published by MKA USA Publications Ltd. This book was released on 2020-11 with total page 205 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How ofter do you find yourself observing Salat and focusing on everything but God? With thoughts of grocery shopping, dinner, homework, and your phone going off, it is easy to be distracted during prayer. Yet, Salat is a time reserved for building a personal relationship with Allah. Spiritual growth necessitates removing distractions that keep us from the remembrance of God during Salat. A challenge in removing distractions is that many are unaware of the deep meanings behind every word of Salat. Take Allah’s attributes of Al-Kabir, invoked when we say Allahu Akbar, and Al-‘Azim which is said during Ruku. Both refer to Allah’s greatness, but Kabir refers to objective greatness, while Azim is a personal attestation to Allah’d grandeur. Through a word by word commentary, Understanding Salat seeks to help readers progress on the spiritual path towards God.

This book was released on 2021 with total page 465 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Ahmadiyya Case of South Africa is an account of the litigation in Cape Town between Muslims of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement and local Sunni Muslim religious bodies which ended in November 1985 with the court judgment declaring the Lahore Ahmadiyya to be Muslims. The case was instituted by Lahore Ahmadiyya members as they were being defamed as unbelievers and apostates by the local anti-Ahmadiyya Ulama and denied their religious rights as Muslims. During the litigation the anti-Ahmadiyya parties, the defendants, had the support of the topmost theological and legal experts from Pakistan where the Ahmadiyya are officially branded as non-Muslims by law. But the defendants and their expert witnesses never had the intention of appearing in court as their false propaganda could never succeed in a fair and impartial forum. This book contains a history of the case and reactions to the judgment. It reproduces the text of the judgment, and consists mostly of the extensive documentary evidence submitted by the Lahore Ahmadiyya side, prepared by Maulana Hafiz Sher Mohammad and translated into English by Zahid Aziz.
