En s’appuyant sur des études de cas en Amérique latine, en Afrique et en Asie, les auteurs cherchent à approfondir l’analyse comparative des relations sur trois points essentiels: l’évolution des politiques agricoles et alimentaires et la place qui y est faite aux petits producteurs : les réactions de ceux-ci aux politiques dont ils sont l’objet; et le rôle que jouent ou pourraient jouer les organisations paysannes et les organismes qui veulent les appuyer.
