Questo appunto sembra essere stato il disegno dell' autore, come può rilevarsi da quel ch' egli stesso conchiud: nella fine della prima parte, dove conforti pennel late dipinge in tal modo i Romani Ch' eglino fizrono grandi più che buoni, illustri più chefèli ci, per instituto oppressori per jbrtuna mirabili.
