Download or read book Society 5 0 written by Bruno Salgues and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2018-08-21 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Following the rapid development of connected technologies, which are now highly sophisticated and spread across the globe, Society 5.0 has emerged and brought with it a dramatic societal shift. In 1998, Kodak, the world leader in photographic film, had 170,000 employees. It thus seemed unthinkable that just 3 years later, the majority of people would stop taking photographs to paper film and that Kodak would have disappeared. These are the stakes of this new society that is taking shape. This book, which does not seek to critique current politics, management or marketing literature, aims to fight against the excesses of this often-misunderstood Society 5.0 and to present the ideas and associated technologies that comprise it, all working towards societal improvement. Among these technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, digital platforms and 3D printing are undoubtedly the most important, and thus receive the greatest focus.
Download or read book Le comportement du consommateur et de l acheteur written by Richard Ladwein and published by . This book was released on 2003 with total page 440 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Implicative Marketing written by Florence Touzé and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-03-16 with total page 157 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a manifesto for responsible marketing. Taking a critical look at marketing practices of the last 50 years, it explains why they have led to an ethical stalemate and sometimes even a business impasse. Exposed to such practices, consumers have grown tired of meaningless offers coupled with the destruction of value as prices are driven down. As a result, today’s marketing professionals find themselves in the firing line of a combat focused on greater social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Thanks to new ways of understanding consumers and branding, this book suggests how such a challenge can be met. Through the presentation of experiences, studies and concrete cases, the reader gains a tangible, fresh perspective on marketing: a new global, responsible, creative and collaborative model that helps respect sustainable consumption. Implicative Marketing presents a paradigm shift, one that will be of considerable interest not just to academics and their students, but also to marketing practitioners.

Download or read book Consumer Behaviour and Social Network Sites written by Sarah Zaraket and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-12-23 with total page 126 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a solid understanding of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) by taking the reader through the process of information diffusion from rumour generation in times of traditional word of mouth (WOM) to negative social eWOM and examining how consumers process it. Consumer Behaviour and Social Network Sites tackles different themes relating to negative eWOM. Drawing on both intensive scientific research and professional examples, it bridges the gap between the academic and professional worlds. The book contrasts negative social eWOM to traditional WOM while discussing the specificities of different social networking sites in diffusing such information. It looks at why and how consumers decide to create, share and react to negative social eWOM, suggesting that there are more reasons than are commonly presumed for consumers to articulate themselves on these platforms. It also provides an appreciation of web users' behaviours with regards to negative social eWOM and how it can alter their decision-making journey. The book concludes with several strategies and key takeaways to deal with and prevent negative social eWOM. Most books on WOM are purely professional and lack the theoretical contextualization of the issue. Moreover, they often provide insights on brand-to-consumer conversation but not consumer-to-consumer (C2C) communication. This short book provides marketing academics, students and practitioners with an important insight into these C2C communications that can potentially be harmful to brands.

Download or read book Corporate Innovation Strategies written by Nacer Gasmi and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2021-03-03 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is simply the maximization of a companys value over time, undertaken because, in the long run, social and environmental problems ultimately become financial problems. The justification for CSR is therefore associated with representing the nature and role of the company, as well as its purpose. Companies therefore regard CSR as a strategic investment that is part of a proactive, resilient, inclusive approach, based on the creation of shared value. This approach is capable of reducing negative societal impacts of their activities, or inducing positive impacts if they sustain a hybrid culture, all the while improving their competitive advantage. This book presents a theoretical development that analyzes the challenges of CSR strategies based on the creation of shared value. Two case studies are presented, analyzing the different forms of social innovation strategies capable of inducing this shared value creation.
Download or read book Cultural Mediations of Brands written by Caroline Marti and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2020-01-10 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Brands, which are major economic entities and major symbols of market mediations, are increasingly appearing in the social arena as cultural actors in their own right. Their quest for social legitimacy and to have control over the markets goes beyond the usual framework of their communication with initiatives that have begun to have an impact on the French cultural landscape. Media, digital content, educational kits, museum exhibitions and so on are the actions of an unadvertization, which has the potential to transform not only the rapport brands have with the public but also representations of knowledge and culture. The communicative approach at the heart of this book illuminates the contemporary transformations of communication, highlighting three main types of cultural mediations: media, education, and cultural heritage institutions. Cultural Mediations of Brands thus provides a theoretical and critical analysis of the brand and the symbolic effectiveness attributed to it.

Download or read book Under The Skin of The Indian Consumer written by David Abikzir and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2017-07-03 with total page 313 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We don't understand anymore the consumers. We feel that they are capricious, bad calculators, fickle and irrational. They're doing whatever comes through their heads and yet, we have no choice, we have to deal with them! This is the result of the consumers' cultural revolution making India enters a new consumerist era. The modern consumption has emerged in India when we stopped considering that the human desire for comfort, pleasure and stimulation of this pleasure was necessarily a danger for the moral of men, women and the integrity of the State. Less credulous and more demanding, Indian consumers have very little to do with the past ones who used to buy to live, while today, the tendency is that they live to buy! The consumption pattern has been shaken up going from a consumption need to a need for consumption. With e-commerce, consumers have changed, evolved and mutated once again. This is a natural evolution in respect to the transformation of the consumer society to definitely get lost in their understanding, in the analysis of their behavior and in their way of thinking. Faced with these new behaviors, we need to evolve the way we do our marketing, our way of touching them, interesting them, shocking them, shoving them but also of delighting them, pleasing them and giving them, in the end, what they ask for: making them live an experience rich in emotions and socially rewarding. Let's condition them to be what we want, that is to say, consumption machines!
