Su aplicación al proceso de diseño es ineludible si observamos la adaptación necesaria entre el cuerpo humano y los diversos componentes del espacio interior. Las dimensiones humanas en los espacios interiores es un texto de normas de diseño, fundamental para todas aquellas personas que están vinculadas con el estudio y desarrollo de proyectos de interiores, tanto estudiantes, arquitectos e interioristas, como diseñadores, industriales y constructores. Consta de tres partes. La primera trata de la teoría y la aplicación de la antropometría, dedicando una sección especial a las personas ancianas y a aquellas con algn tipo de carencia física. La segunda contiene unas tablas antropométricas ilustradas y de fácil lectura que aportan datos sobre el tamaño corporal, organizados por grupos de edad y porcentajes. También incluye datos sobre la amplitud de movimiento de las articulaciones y relativos a las dimensiones del cuerpo de los niños. En la tercera se presentan gran cantidad de dibujos acotados que ilustran en planta y sección la correcta relación antropométrica entre el usuario y el espacio. Los espacios estudiados abarcan desde viviendas y espacios comerciales hasta lugares de ocio y espacios institucionales. Todas las tablas de dimensiones se completan con las correspondientes conversiones al sistema métrico.

La utilizacion de datos antropometricos debe entenderse como una herramienta basica del diseno en la adaptacion fisica o interfase entre el cuerpo humano y los diversos componentes del espacio interior. Estructurado en tres partes: la primera se encarga de tratar la teoria de la antropometria con especial atencion a las personas fisicamente disminuidas. La segunda contiene tablas antropometricas ilustradas de facil lectura y por ultimo, en la tercera se presentan centenares de dibujos acotados que ilustran en planta y seccion la correcta relacion entre usuario y el espacio que lo rodea.
