Language assistants are exchanged yearly with Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, countries of Oceania (Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu), Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Under the supervision of the full-time teacher, the language assistants help students in Spanish public schools to improve their oral proficiency in the target language. Registries are classified according to how their populations are defined. For example, product registries include patients who have been exposed to biopharmaceutical products or medical devices. Health services registries consist of patients who have had a common procedure, clinical encounter, or hospitalization. Disease or condition registries are defined by patients having the same diagnosis, such as cystic fibrosis or heart failure.
