Book Langage Symbolique Et Communication Africaine

Download or read book Langage Symbolique Et Communication Africaine written by Lydie Christelle Talla Makoudjou and published by Editions Universitaires Europeennes. This book was released on 2012 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book La communication technique en langues africaines written by Henry Tourneux and published by KARTHALA Editions. This book was released on 2006-11-01 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Side Ways Mobile Margins and the Dynamics of Communication in Africa

Download or read book Side Ways Mobile Margins and the Dynamics of Communication in Africa written by Mirjam Elisabeth Bruijn and published by African Books Collective. This book was released on 2013 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Marginality does not mean isolation. In Africa where people are permanently on the move in search, inter alia, of a 'better elsewhere', marginality means disconnection to obvious possibilities and the invisibility of the myriad connections that make life possible for the ordinarily sidestepped. This book is about the workings of networks of the mobile in Africa, a continent usually associated with the 'global shadows' of the world. How do changes in the possibilities for communication, with the recent hype of mobile technology, influence the social and economic dynamics in Africa's mobile margins? To what extent is the freedom associated with new Information and Communication Technologies reality or disillusion for people dwelling in the margins? Are ordinary Africans increasingly Side@Ways? How social are these emergent Side@Ways? Contributions to answering these and related questions are harvested from ethnographic insights by team members of the WOTRO funded 'Mobile Africa revisited' research programme hosted by the African Studies Centre, Leiden, The Netherlands.

Book Communication et interculturalit Cultures et interactions interpersonnelles

Download or read book Communication et interculturalit Cultures et interactions interpersonnelles written by FRAME Alexander and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2013-02-01 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Communication in the Jewish Diaspora

Download or read book Communication in the Jewish Diaspora written by Sophia Menache and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2024-01-22 with total page 439 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although Jews lacked a political locus standi for a communication system in the Middle Ages and Early Modern periods, their involvement in trade and the close relations among Jewish communities fostered the development of effective channels of communication. This process responded primarily to security and socio-economic considerations but it has important implications for the development of communication systems as well. Written by some of the most outstanding researchers in the field of Jewish history, this collection offers a rich and consistent picture of the main developments in communications in the Jewish world before the era of mass-media. This pioneering research reconsiders the principal means of communication among the Jewish communities in the Islamic world, Christian Europe, the Ottoman Empire, and the New World, from the seventh until the nineteenth centuries.

It gives particular prominence to the relationship between English and Chinese, it's likely transformation at a time of significant global change and the impact that these two languages and their synergy will have on the place of other languages and dialects. Dynamic Ecologies: A Relational Perspective on Languages Education in the Asia-Pacific Region draws on the research and insights of key scholars in the field and provides case studies that illustrate the impact of relevant language policy in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea and Australia.
