Book excerpt: El principal objetivo de este libro es que el lector (sea un futuro docente, pedagogo asesor o docente en activo) conozca desde una doble perspectiva teórica-práctica los procesos asociados al diseño y confección de una programación didáctica; lo que implica y afecta a diferentes elementos del currículo y a buena parte de las funciones atribuidas a los docentes en la normativa; todo ello, en aras de planificar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje durante un curso escolar de la forma más adecuada y efectiva posible. Dicha planificación deberá atender tres cuestiones fundamentales: en primer lugar, la normativa vigente, en segundo lugar, el conocimiento del contexto en el que va a intervenir, y finalmente el alumnado al que va dirigida. El objetivo con el que se diseña una programación didáctica, en la actualidad, puede tener dos contextos de aplicación diferentes que, si bien comparten muchos puntos en común, difieren en la intención. Por un lado, el opositor a cuerpos docentes diseña una programación para la segunda parte de los procesos selectivos –según una extensión y formato determinado– con la intención de aprobar una oposición en un ejercicio hipotético de actuación individual en el que convergen una serie de requisitos de adecuación metodológica, de evaluación y atención a la diversidad, entre otros muchos. Por otro lado, un docente en activo desarrolla y diseña una programación didáctica en el seno de un equipo de ciclo en el ejercicio de sus funciones docentes desde el principio de colaboración y trabajo en equipo con el resto de docentes y, en un contexto real de enseñanza-aprendizaje, con la intención de programar de la mejor manera posible las enseñanzas atribuidas. Normalmente, esta última programación suele venir ligada un marco normativo (especifico de cada comunidad autónoma) que acota de una manera más concreta los apartados que debe contener dicha programación. Esto nos ha supuesto redoblar los esfuerzos para intentar realizar un planteamiento que sea interesante para ambos colectivos sin por ello perder la especificidad que cada uno de estos grupos de población puede necesitar. El diseño de este libro aúna estas dos intenciones y proporciona pautas de actuación claras y pertinentes para el diseño de la programación didáctica. Habitualmente se detecta un divorcio entre lo que determina el marco curricular, lo que el docente planifica a nivel teórico de su enseñanza, y lo que realmente desempeña en su día a día. Ese divorcio curricular suele tener como principal perjudicado al alumnado, especialmente, al que presenta dificultades de aprendizaje. El docente tiende a percibir este documento como una tarea burocrática que le hace perder tiempo respecto a lo verdaderamente importante: enseñar. Nuestra propuesta no consiste únicamente en que el lector conozca los aspectos teóricos que fundamentan una programación didáctica (muchos de los lectores ya han oído y leído suficientemente de lo que es una programación didáctica), sino que, además, pretendemos clarificar, facilitar e incluso innovar sobre cómo ayudar a los docentes a conectar su programación didáctica con su ejercicio profesional diario: enseñar. En definitiva, consideramos y pretendemos que el lector llegue a entender la utilidad de una buena planificación curricular y cómo esta planificación contribuye a la mejora de la educación en general y del alumnado concreto de un aula en particular. Las demandas que actualmente solicita la sociedad a la escuela (entendida como toda la enseñanza preuniversitaria) conllevan y conllevarán un perfil profesional docente que aúne, de manera solvente, el conocimiento de la normativa que regula su ejercicio profesional, con una serie de competencias profesionales que le ayuden a desarrollar dicha normativa en el contexto específico del centro en que desarrolla sus funciones docentes. Dichas competencias individuales no le convierten en un lobo/a solitario. Su trabajo está ligado a otros profesionales con competencias similares y/o complementarias. Ese trabajo en equipo impregna nuestra propuesta de elaboración de programación didáctica entendiéndola como un documento compartido que debe estar diseñado, actualizado y evaluado desde los diferentes profesionales que entran en contacto con el alumnado de un grupo-clase. Complementariamente, el lector debe ser consciente que el diseño de la programación didáctica puede venir condicionado por la organización del centro y viceversa. Por lo tanto, a la hora de definir dicho programa didáctico es necesario analizar las implicaciones organizativas que el centro plantea en su Proyecto Educativo y, si las mismas, han sido tenidas en cuenta suficientemente en las propuestas didácticas que se ofrecen al alumnado (horario del centro, carga horaria del área, propuestas disciplinares o interdisciplinares, actividades complementarias o extraescolares, recursos de los que dispone el centro, instalaciones, formación permanente de su profesorado, etc.). Por lo tanto, el presente libro ha sido escrito por un equipo multidisciplinar con el objetivo de elaborar una propuesta que integre los conocimientos que se imparten en la enseñanza inicial universitaria, con las necesidades que se detectan en los aspirantes a docentes mientras se preparan para superar un proceso selectivo, con la experiencia de docentes en activo, y la información que se aporta desde la Inspección de Educación en lo referido a las buenas prácticas y las carencias detectadas en el profesorado en activo. Uno de los aspectos que más complicaciones ha supuesto en la elaboración de este documento para sus autores ha sido contextualizar su contenido a la realidad normativa de cada Administración educativa de este país. Realmente es una tarea compleja teniendo en cuenta el escaso nivel de prescripción a nivel estatal de los elementos curriculares y el elevado nivel de dispersión autonómica en lo referido a su interpretación, ordenación y grado de supervisión de su cumplimiento. En consecuencia, hemos debido limitar los elementos, los órganos implicados, las definiciones, las pautas, funciones… a lo común, derivando al lector a la normativa de cada Administración para conocer los detalles que regulan los diferentes aspectos que contempla esta publicación. En definitiva, nuestro planteamiento no se fundamenta en un marco normativo concreto (pues quedaría obsoleto ante cualquier cambio legislativo), sino en aquellos postulados que han permanecido y, probablemente, permanecerán estables a pesar de las distintas reformas legislativas que pudiera haber en los próximos años. Nos referimos a las variables de saber planificar la enseñanza, conocer la importancia de la didáctica general y específica y su vinculación con las áreas, saber planificar la evaluación del alumnado y saber planificar la atención a la diversidad del alumnado de su responsabilidad, entre otras variables.
