Book excerpt: L'objectif principal de cette thèse est l'étude asymptotique des solutions des équations d'un écoulement monodimensionnel d'un fluide échangeant de l'énergie avec l'extérieur. Le fluide est supposé suivre une loi d'état postulant la proportionnalité entre les variations du volume spécifique et celles de la température. Afin de pouvoir mener une analyse de la stabilité des solutions du système, les équations aux dérivées partielles sont transformées en un système dynamique, moyennant une intégration exacte des équations de conservation le long de la trajectoire d'une particule. Une étude analytique du système dynamique montre qu'il n'existe pas de point fixe stable et que des pseudos cycles limites peuvent apparaitre et leur période a été calculée. L'existence d'un domaine d'attraction et d'exposants de Lyapunov positifs nous autorise à affirmer que le système possède un attracteur étrange. Une intégration numérique nous permet de retrouver ces résultats, en particulier les sections de l'attracteur étrange. La deuxième partie de cette thèse consiste à appliquer les résultats précédents aux écoulements diphasiques dans un canal chauffe par un flux uniforme et auquel est imposée une chute de pression fixée entre l'entrée et la sortie. Les seuils d'apparition des oscillations auto-entretenues ainsi que leur période sont calculés et ils sont comparables à ceux donnés par le code de fonctionnement thermohydraulique sicle.
