Book excerpt: Introducción Cuando de comentar la Palabra se trata, muchos cristianos suponen, sin base escritural, que las manifestaciones de Dios, Jehová, en el Antiguo Testamento, no eran otra cosa más que las interacciones que el Padre tenía con la humanidad, más sin embargo esto plantea dos interrogantes: la primer interrogante, como se comentará en su momento, se refiere al indicativo contenido en la Escritura de que al Padre nadie la ha visto ni oído (Juan 1:18; Juan 5:37; Juan 6:46); la segunda interrogante es referida al papel de Cristo en esa etapa de la historia humana, es decir ¿qué estaba haciendo?, sobre todo si se entiende y se acepta que por medio de Él se hizo desde el principio todo. El hecho de que sea la misma Escritura, inspirada por el Santo Espíritu de Dios, la que señale que al Padre nadie le ha visto ni oído plantea un obstáculo literalmente insalvable para sostener que las manifestaciones de Jehová en el Antiguo Testamento se refieren al Padre, ¿cómo mantener sin contradicción ambas aseveraciones cuando se tiene por un lado todas las historias escriturales que presentan a Dios activamente interactuando con la humanidad y por otro lado la aseveración de la Palabra, la cual no puede ser quebrantada (Juan 10:35), de que al Padre nadie le ha visto ni oído? En cuanto al papel de Jesús, resulta de igual forma incomprensible como es que Su participación en la creación desde el principio es sobre todo decisiva para posteriormente quedar literalmente miles de años en silencio, sin interacción alguna con su creación, hasta Su venida en la carne. Si se quieren resolver los anteriores cuestionamientos desde la propia mente carnal, para la cual las cosas de Dios son incomprensibles (Romanos 8:5-8), es más que lógico que las conclusiones a las que se lleguen, aunque apacigüen por el momento la necesidad de entendimiento, lejos estarán de acercarse siquiera a la verdad. Salmos 119:160 señala que la suma de tu Palabra es la verdad, de igual forma 2 Timoteo 3:16 indica de igual forma que toda Escritura es inspirada por Dios y útil para enseñar, redargüir, corregir y educar, luego entonces y por consiguiente la búsqueda de respuesta a la aparente contradicción escritural inicialmente señalada debe ser abordada, no desde el punto de vista de la mente humana, sino desde el punto de vista de la verdad revelada por Dios, de igual forma no puede circunscribirse a algunas citas aisladas sino que debe buscar en toda la Escritura, con fundamento en la doctrina de la iglesia (Romanos 12:6), columna y fundamento de la verdad (1 Timoteo 3:15), la armonía que deviene de un Dios, no de confusión, sino de orden (1 Corintios 14:33). Que el Santo Espíritu de nuestro Padre Dios que mora en nosotros nos ilumine y fortalezca para crecer en el conocimiento del Padre y de Su Hijo, a través de la Palabra escrita y de la Palabra hecha carne, para Su mayor gloria, para testimonio de las naciones y para nuestra propia edificación, conforme a la voluntad del Padre y para Su mayor gloria en Cristo Jesús.
