Et en fonction de quels critères? Est-ce sous la pression de l'environnement sur lequel elles émettent et reçoivent des influences? Ou pour réaliser les aspirations de ses acteurs? Dans une perspective qui conçoit la décision d'investir: - comme l'œuvre de deux catégories d'acteurs: les analystes et les décideurs, possédant chacun leur propre projet de développement (P.P.D.) qui oriente leurs stratégies dans l'organisation; et qu'ils espèrent réaliser en usant de leurs sources de pouvoir par le biais du système contribution-rétribution; - comme un compromis entre les contraintes émanant de l'intérieur (la trilogie: survie, pérennité et compétitivité) et de l'extérieur (environnement) pour éviter tout risque d'implosion et d'explosion. En respectant cette démarche, nous avons étudié la trajectoire du projet afin de tenter une approche stratégique de la décision d'investir.

Cette analyse de type interne permet d'articuler une réflexion plus large sur les méthodes d'analyse empirique et théorique de l'investissement. Aux modèles standard, centrés sur l'accumulation optimale du capital, nous opposons notamment les approches proposées par Keynes, Shackle ou encore la théorie des options réelles, qui traitent la décision d'investir de façon spécifique en étudiant le rôle effectif des anticipations, de l'incertitude et de l'irréversibilité
