Book La cr ation artistique et les promesses de la libert

Download or read book La cr ation artistique et les promesses de la libert written by Olivier Revault d'Allonnes and published by . This book was released on 1973 with total page 318 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Rebetiko Worlds written by Dafni Tragaki and published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This book was released on 2009-01-14 with total page 355 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rebetiko Worlds invites the reader to share the experience of rebetiko music-making in the city of Thessaloniki today. It aims at representing an ethnographic world made of diverse realities united by the melancholic sounds of rebetiko songs. Rather than a musicological account on rebetiko music, this ethnography is about the human encounters happening in certain rebetiko venues of the Ano Poli area in Thessaloniki. How do people perceive, practice, feel and imagine rebetiko song—a music tradition coming from the beginning of the 20th century—today? What are the worldviews embodied and inspired in the context of the ongoing rebetiko performances? And, how may the exploration of rebetiko revivalist culture convey understandings of broader music-cultural orientations defining contemporary Greek society? This ethnography is primarily interested in knowing contemporary rebetiko culture as a ‘lived experience’. It captures instances of the life-worlds of the people involved in the rebetiko revival, which unravel the ways local traditions are re-defined in the context of the nostalgic re-invention of ‘ethnic’ music in postcolonial times. On this level, the representation of the discourses and aesthetics associated with rebetiko performances today instigate further interpretations of local cultural trends, the visions of ‘our’ future triggered by the mythicized representations of ‘our’ past. Beyond a window to the rebetiko worlds of today, this book recounts the story of an ethnographer engaged in fieldwork ‘at home’. It aims at communicating the dynamics of reflexivity shaping the ethnographic self by proposing an understanding of the fieldwork experience as a ‘special ontology’. In this way, it reveals the various dilemmas, moments of enthusiasm and moments of despair lived in the process of research in an attempt to illuminate the poetics of the subjective cultural knowledge. Rebetiko Worlds incites the reader to share the poetics of ethnographic ‘fiction’ and interpretation and, through this, the gradual ‘making’ of the ethnomusicologist in the field.

Book excerpt: Practice-as-Research: In Performance and Screen presents a thoroughgoing exploration of the major fissures of established knowledge created by a new trans-disciplinary, worldwide project for the twenty-first century. Focussing on the most fleeting and yet pervasive practices of the performance and screen arts, it both documents and analyses the practical-theoretical integration of hands-on creative and scholarly methods of research. Through an innovative combination of manuscript, catalogue and digital multi-media formats, it aims to embody the principles of performance and screen practice-as-research in its structure and design – making book pages and DVD images mutually illuminating. With over fifty practitioner-researcher contributors, Practice-as-Research constitutes the most comprehensive presentation of this sometimes controversial and frequently fresh way of doing things with an imaginative convergence of artistic and scholarly processes.

Book La cr ation artistique et l ordre public

Download or read book La cr ation artistique et l ordre public written by Sophie Joly (Auteur de thèse) and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 1552 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: CE TRAVAIL CONFRONTE LA CREATION ARTISTIQUE ET L'ORDRE PUBLIC PAR UN JEU DE MIROIR QUI REVELE TANT L'APPROCHE JURIDIQUE DE LA CREATION QUE LA FONCTION DE L'ORDRE PUBLIC. PAR CREATION ARTISTIQUE, IL FAUT ENTENDRE L'ACTE CREATIF ET SON RESULTAT, L'OEUVRE. L'ACTE CREATIF CONSTITUE UN FAIT JURIDIQUE NON DEFINI. L'OEUVRE, FORME D'EXPRESSION MATERIALISEE PAR UN SUPPORT, EST APPREHENDEE DE MANIERE FRAGMENTEE : ELLE MOBILISE LE REGIME DE L'OEUVRE DE L'ESPRIT, LE REGIME DE LA LIBERTE D'EXPRESSION ET, ENFIN, LE REGIME DU BIEN CULTUREL. CETTE APPROCHE ECLATEE DE LA CREATION MET EN LUMIERE LES MULTIPLES FACETTES DE LA NOTION D'ORDRE PUBLIC QUI S'IMPOSE COMME LE MECANISME QUI PARTICIPE A LA DELIMITATION DE LA LIBERTE INDIVIDUELLE SOUS SES DIFFERENTES FORMES D'EXPRESSION JURIDIQUE. NOUS INTERESSE ICI LA LIBERTE DE L'AUTEUR DE LA CREATION ARTISTIQUE, C'EST-A-DIRE, SI L'ON SUIT LE CHEMINEMENT DU PROCESSUS CREATIF, LA LIBERTE DE S'ENGAGER A CREER, LA LIBERTE DE CREER ET ENFIN LA LIBERTE DE CEDER LES DROITS D'AUTEUR. SONT EGALEMENT CONCERNEES LA LIBERTE DE TOUTE PERSONNE DE DIFFUSER LE CONTENU DE L'OEUVRE ET LA LIBERTE DE TOUTE PERSONNE D'EXPLOITER LE SUPPORT DE L'OEUVRE. LA DEMARCHE SE RESUME A UNE DOUBLE QUESTION : L'AUTEUR DE LA CREATION ARTISTIQUE EST-IL UNE PERSONNE (JURIDIQUE) HORS DU COMMUN ? L'OBJET DE LA CREATION ARTISTIQUE EST-IL UNE CHOSE (JURIDIQUE) HORS DU COMMUN ? LE DROIT DE DIVULGATION DE L'AUTEUR DE L'OEUVRE DE L'ESPRIT, NECESSAIRE COROLLAIRE DE LA LIBERTE DE CREER, ET LE REGIME DES PREROGATIVES PATRIMONIALES QUI TENDENT A RESERVER A L'AUTEUR L'EXPLOITATION DE L'OEUVRE, FORME D'EXPRESSION, TRADUISENT LE STATUT EXCEPTIONNEL RECONNU A L'AUTEUR DE LA CREATION. LE DROIT AU RESPECT DE L'OEUVRE ET LA LEGISLATION RELATIVE AU BIEN CULTUREL CONVERGENT POUR QUALIFIER LE SUPPORT DE L'OEUVRE DE CHOSE NON ORDINAIRE ET LIMITENT LE DROIT DU PROPRIETAIRE DE DISPOSER DE SON BIEN. EN REVANCHE, LA LIBERTE DE S'ENGAGER A CREER, LE CONTENU DE L'OEUVRE N'ECHAPPENT PAS AU DROIT COMMUN. LALIBERTE DE CREER RENCONTRE EGALEMENT DES LIMITES TENANT AU NECESSAIRE RESPECT DES DROITS D'AUTRUI ET A CERTAINS TABOUS.
