Download or read book L EMOTIVISME ET LA CONSTITUTION AFFECTIVE DU DISCOURS MORAL LES LIMITES DE LA META ETHIQUE ET SON INFLUENCE DANS LE DEBAT CONTEMPORAIN written by JOSE.. PEQUENO PIMENTEL and published by . This book was released on 1996 with total page 330 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NOTRE THESE S'ARTICULE AUTOUR DES FONDEMENTS, LIMITES ET REPERCUSSIONS DE L'EMOTIVISME. AU LONG DE SES PAGES, NOUS ENVISAGEONS DE DEGAGER LES ELEMENTS QUI NOUS PERMETTRONT D'ACTUALISER SA PROBLEMATIQUE MAJEURE : CE QUE LES EMOTIONS PEUVENT NOUS APPRENDRE A PROPOS DE L'ETHIQUE. IL S'AGIT DONC DE TROUVER UNE CONNEXION POSSIBLE ENTRE RAISON ET EMOTION DANS LA STRUCTURE DE L'ACTION MORALE. NOTRE TRAVAIL S'OUVRE PAR UN CHAPITRE SUR LES FONDEMENTS DE LA PHILOSOPHIE ANALYTIQUE DU LANGAGE MORAL, DANS LEQUEL NOUS ESSAYONS DE DELIMITER LES ORIGINES ET LES INTERETS THEORIQUES DE LA META-ETHIQUE, A PARTIR DES VUES DE SON PRECURSEUR : GEORGE MOORE. ENSUITE, AFIN DE PARCOURIR LES DIATRIBES DE LA THEORIE EMOTIVISTE, NOUS TENTONS DE DEMONTRER LE SOUBASSEMENT NEOPOSITIVISTE DE SA CONCEPTION DE L'ETHIQUE EN TENANT COMPTE DES INFLUENCES DE SON PRINCIPAL INSTIGATEUR : LUDWIG WITTGENSTEIN. NOTRE EXAMEN DE L'APPROCHE EMOTIVISTE EST CENTRE SUR L'OUVRAGE "LANGUAGE. TRUTH AND LOGIC" D'ALFRED AYER ET SURTOUT "ETHICS AND LANGUAGE" DE CHARLES STEVENSON. ICI, NOUS ENVISAGEONS NON SEULEMENT DE METTRE EN RELIEF LES TRAITS GENERAUX D'UNE TELLE THEORIE, MAIS AUSSI SOULIGNER LES INCOMPLETUDES DE CETTE APPROCHE AINSI QUE L'ETROITESSE DE SA CONCEPTION DE L'EMOTION. EN DEPIT DE SES LACUNES, NOUS JUGEONS QUE L'EMOTIVISME A EU LE MERITE DE REINTRODUIRE LA DISCUSSION SUR LA FONCTION DE L'AFFECTIVITE EN MORALE. DANS SON ENSEMBLE NOS PROPOSITIONS VISENT TROIS BUTS : A) RECONSTITUER LE PARCOURS DE L'EMOTIVISME ET LES CRITIQUES QUI LUI SONT ADRESSEES; B) DEMONTRER, A PARTIR DE SA CONFRONTATION AVEC LES APPROCHES NATUURALISTES (DARWINISME SOCIAL, EVOLUTIONNISME, SOCIOBIOLOGIE) L'INCONSISTANCE DE SON PROGRAMME DE RECHERCHE : C) FINALMENT QUE LE RAPPORT "PATHOS-LOGOS" DOIT CONQUERIR LE DROIT DE CITE EN ETHIQUE. C'EST POURQUOI NOUS CHERCHONS A FONDER NOTRE THESE SELON LAQUELLE "SI LA MORALE SANS EMOTIONS EST VIDE; UNE MORALE EN COMPORTANT QUE L'EMOTION EST AVEUGLE".

Book Ethics and Justice thique et justice

Download or read book Ethics and Justice thique et justice written by Peter Kemp and published by LIT Verlag Münster. This book was released on 2017 with total page 284 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The main theme of volume 6 of Eco-ethica is "Ethics and Justice" which focuses on the idea of "justice" in a metaphysical, social, and personal sense. Justice is considered as a balance between opposite ambitions in interdependent persons, and as equity in legislation, but not as blind justice. Today it is valuable not only on the national, but also on the cosmopolitan level. Before it became personal justice, the idea of justice was considered metaphysical and social, both in European and Chinese culture. However, in modern times, it is often reduced to a moral duty without meta-ethical responsibility. The last section considers the importance of the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005) for clarifying the idea of justice. (Series: Eco-Ethica, Vol. 6) [Subject: Philosophy, Ethics]

Book Feeling and Value Willing and Action

Download or read book Feeling and Value Willing and Action written by Marta Ubiali and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-01-13 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume explores the role and status of phenomena such as feelings, values, willing, and action in the domain of perception and (social) cognition, as well as the way in which they are related. In its exploration, the book takes Husserl’s lifelong project Studien zur Struktur des Bewusstseins (1909-1930) as its point of departure, and investigates these phenomena with Husserl but also beyond Husserl. Divided into two parts, the volume brings together essays that address the topics from different phenomenological, philosophical, and psychological perspectives. They discuss Husserl’s position in dialogue with historical and recent philosophical and psychological debates and develop phenomenological accounts and descriptions with the help of Geiger, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Plessner, Sartre, Scheler, Schopenhauer, and Reinach.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Does the World exist?" There would be no reason to resurrect this question of modernity from its historical oblivion were it not for the fact that recent evolution in science and technology, impregnating culture, makes us wonder about the nature of reality, of the world we are living in, and of our status as living beings within it. Thus great metaphysical subjacent queries are forcefully revived, calling for new investigations to proceed in the light of the innumerable novel insights of science. This collection presents a wealth of material toward an elaboration of a new metaphysical groundwork of the ontopoiesis/ phenomenology of life sought to effect such investigations. The classic postulates of the metaphysics of reality, those of necessity and certainty here find a new formulation. Away from sclerotized ontological and cognitive assumptions and congenial with the views of contemporary science, the understanding of reality, of our world of life, and of ourselves within it is to be sought in the existential/ontopoietic ciphering of life (Tymieniecka).

Book Jean Jacques Rousseau Et la Lecture

Download or read book Jean Jacques Rousseau Et la Lecture written by Equipe Rousseau and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Logos of Phenomenology and Phenomenology of the Logos Book One

Download or read book Logos of Phenomenology and Phenomenology of the Logos Book One written by Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2006-06-30 with total page 494 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: During its century-long unfolding, spreading in numerous directions, Husserlian phenomenology while loosening inner articulations, has nevertheless maintained a somewhat consistent profile. As we see in this collection, the numerous conceptions and theories advanced in the various phases of reinterpretations have remained identifiable with phenomenology. What conveys this consistency in virtue of which innumerable types of inquiry-scientific, social, artistic, literary – may consider themselves phenomenological? Is it not the quintessence of the phenomenological quest, namely our seeking to reach the very foundations of reality at all its constitutive levels by pursuing its logos? Inquiring into the logos of the phenomenological quest we discover, indeed, all the main constitutive spheres of reality and of the human subject involved in it, and concurrently, the logos itself comes to light in the radiation of its force (Tymieniecka).

Book Ethics of Hospitality

Download or read book Ethics of Hospitality written by Daniel Innerarity and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-01-12 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The source of hospitality lies in the fundamental ethical experiences that make up the fabric of the social lives of people. Therein lies a primary form of humanity. Whether we are guests or hosts, this reveals our situation in a world made up of receiving and meeting, leaving room for the liberty to give and receive beyond the imperatives of reciprocity. This book proposes an ethic that promotes the possibility of stirring emotion before that of protecting ourselves from unexpected encounters. Fundamental ethical competence consists of opening up to the wholly other and to others, to be accessible to the world’s solicitations. There is moral superiority of vulnerable love over control and moderation, of generous passion over rational prudence and of excess over exchange. Constructing an ethic of hospitality is essential at a time when we are torn between the imperatives of modernization and growth and the demands of concern and protection. The experience we all have today, that of the fragility of the world, is giving rise to a powerful tendency toward solicitude. From such a perspective, the duty of individuals no longer consists of protecting themselves from society, but of defending it, taking care of a social fabric outside of which no identity can be formed.
