Book L ducation inclusive privil ge ou droit

Download or read book L ducation inclusive privil ge ou droit written by Serge Ebersold and published by PUG. This book was released on 2017-05-12T00:00:00+02:00 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Accessibility or Reinventing Education

Download or read book Accessibility or Reinventing Education written by and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2021-04-13 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The accessibility requirement of educational policies is a reinvention of schools beyond the education of students with disabilities. Accessibility or Reinventing Education studies the changes that have redefined the roles and missions of schools, by asking them to consider the obstacles to learning imposed on students – regardless of their particular characteristics – in order to make themselves accessible to the greatest number. This book examines the ways in which school stakeholders are addressing the need for accessibility to bring its principles to life on a daily basis. Particular attention is given to the strategies developed by teachers for creating accessible school environments, the conditions for mobilizing digital technologies, and the redefinition of relationships between teachers and their specialist counterparts. Finally, the new figures of "ineducablility", established because of the accessibility imperative, are considered, and a grammar of accessibility is proposed, setting the stage for accessibility in school environments and the implementation of inclusive policies.

Book Global Handbook of Health Promotion Research Vol 1

Download or read book Global Handbook of Health Promotion Research Vol 1 written by Louise Potvin and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2022-05-13 with total page 869 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While research teams are producing relevant and valid knowledge for health promotion, there is not yet a structured manual and distinct field of health promotion research. This timely "state-of-the-art" handbook contributes to the structuring of such a field of research. This collection of original contributions explores the major epistemological, methodological, and ethical challenges facing health promotion research. It brings together experts from different "research traditions" that coexist in the field. The handbook covers the existing knowledge production and sharing practices to delineate the "discipline" and its agenda for future research. Ultimately, it contributes to the creation of a global community of health promotion researchers. The handbook is organized by four types of practices (what people actually do) studied in health promotion; the practices of: Individuals and populations in relation to their health and its determinants Professionals who intervene to improve population health Policy-makers and institutions involved in the advocacy, design, and implementation of policies and programs Researchers and innovators (academic scholars and global agencies) through which investment in research and production of evidence-based guidelines are made. Global Handbook of Health Promotion Research, Vol. 1: Mapping Health Promotion Research is a highly relevant reference tool for researchers and graduate students in health promotion, public health, education and socio-health sciences; practitioners in health, medical, and social sectors; policy-makers; and health research administrators.

Book Decentering Comparative Analysis in a Globalizing World

Download or read book Decentering Comparative Analysis in a Globalizing World written by and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2021-10-18 with total page 520 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Decentering Comparative Analysis in a Globalizing World aims to go beyond the traditional criticism in comparative analysis. It wants to shed new light on the question of comparing as a form of categorizing. In this perspective, three relevant dimensions to question the naturalized categories of comparison are mobilized: ethnocentrism, the nation, and academic disciplines. Based on original empirical work, the volume proposes to use comparative categories by mixing and shifting the analytical perspectives. It brings together contributions that come to terms with the historicity of the comparative method in the social sciences. It eventually deals with the key issue of comparability of various cases, in the enlarged context of a globalizing world. Contributors are: Anna Amelina, Camille Boullier, Catherine Cavalin, Serge Ebersold, Andreas Eckert, Mouhamedoune Abdoulaye Fall, Isabel Georges, Olivier Giraud, Aïssa Kadri, Wiebke Keim, Michel Lallement, Marie Mercat-Bruns, Luis Felipe Murillo, Kiran Klaus Patel, Léa Renard, Ferruccio Ricciardi, Paul-André Rosental, Pablo Salazar-Jaramillo, Stéphanie Tawa-Lama, Nikola Tietze, Tania Toffanin, Michel Vincent and Bénédicte Zimmermann.

This book was released on 2022-06-21 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book La r daction administrative et l gislative inclusive Open Access written by Alexandre Flückiger and published by Stämpfli Verlag. This book was released on 2019-11-06 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Gender and Education in Luxembourg and Beyond

Download or read book Gender and Education in Luxembourg and Beyond written by Sylvie Kerger and published by BoD – Books on Demand. This book was released on 2022-10-03 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this book is to provide a starting point for a discussion about gender and education in Luxembourg through national and international perspectives. The book is divided into three different, yet also overlapping, parts. The first part examines gender issues in nonformal and informal educational contexts, such as the home but also society at large. The second part of the book moves over to gender issues in formal education. And the third part of the book is devoted to gender considerations in working life. Exploring various aspects of gender and education and coming from a range of different backgrounds, the authors of this book all share a common endeavour: the fight against gender inequality and the belief in the importance of an egalitarian education. The hope is that this book will provide a point of departure for a reflection on existing educational practices – in Luxembourg and beyond.
