Download or read book Keto Cooking for Cool Dudes written by Brad Kearns and published by Bradventures LLC. This book was released on 2019-11-08 with total page 359 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A hilarious and irreverent cookbook written just for dudes (like Brad and Brian) who are interesting, successful, confident, and extremely good looking; dudes who like to eat healthy, colorful, creative keto-friendly creations, but are too busy and important to stress over time-consuming, complex recipes. Co-authors Brad Kearns and Brian McAndrew pose as experts to help you swagger into the low carb, moderate protein, high fat ketogenic diet the right way, without the stress and frustration of ordinary keto cookbooks. While naysayers may criticize keto as a “bacon and butter” fat-fest, and disparage Brad and Brian as a couple of posers trafficking on their sex appeal and athletic prowess instead of their cooking skills, this book emphasizes an incredible array of genius or near-genius level recipes featuring nutritious natural animal foods, colorful vegetables, and other nutrient-dense ingredients that will help optimize gut health, boost immune function, and improve performance on the athletic field, in the bedroom, and at work by three to four levels. You will be amazed at the creativity these two dudes will inspire in you to become a freakin’ kitchen legend in less time and less hassle than you ever dreamed possible before meeting these two dudes. While originally envisioned as a great gift idea for females to give to their favorite dudes, several female recipe testers, photographers, designers and key grips on the project have indicated that they want to keep the book for themselves. Brad and Brian are prepared for viral acceptance by females and agree to show up and rock the house at any ladies book club meeting they are invited to.

Book Detroit Lenacrave and Cleveland

Download or read book Detroit Lenacrave and Cleveland written by Brooke and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2010-12-15 with total page 629 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I was almost as hard headed as it gets while repeatedly insisting on missing and ignoring the entire point that Mom and a few others tried to get me to realize. GET YOUR EDUCATION!!! I still had some great times here and there every now and then, and I can only imagine how beautiful-my-life-would-have-been if I would have followed the The Golden Rules. Some wonderful things have happened to me even though I still feel that I truly did not deserve or even know how to sincerely enjoy thoroughly, but on the other hand, some not so wonderful things have happened to me that I basically brought on myself as a direct result of not following The Golden Rules. EDUCATION IS A MUST!!! I know my family was not the only family that has gone through a divorce, and I know there are millions of kids who went through divorce without a scratch. I am not blaming any of my failures as a man on the pitfalls of divorce, but I can clearly see now that my character flaws were a direct hit stemming from the casualties of my parents divorce. I did not ask to be me, and I certainly did not ask or expect to be stuck on stupid for almost three tenths of a century. It was what it was! If I would have known their divorce would eventually effect me which I believe set the wheels in motion that turned towards me turning out the way I have, I would have started Praying that night. But I had no idea it would, and neither did they. I can only imagine how beautiful my life would have been if their marriage was meant to be, but it was not about me. Brooke!

Book In Spite Of but Because Of

Download or read book In Spite Of but Because Of written by Kerry Meadows and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2017-02-17 with total page 345 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1954, in West Shawmut, Alabama, it was a kinder, gentler, and more peaceful time in life and society. Gas was twenty-two cents a gallon. This is a community memoir chronicling, detailing, and reflecting upon some of those memorable events, experiences, and adventures of youthful yesterdays. West Shawmut, Alabama is a nondescript small town and quaint, folksy community nestled in southeastern sweet home Alabama, not even a dot on the Alabama map. But it is a village haven of genuine love, hope, dreams, and aspirations for its perhaps one thousand inhabitants. Its not too far from the West Point, Georgia, Kia Automotive Plant, a hoot, holler, and a skip from Valley, Alabama. Submerged in the heart of the backwoods of Chambers County right across the Georgia/Alabama boundary line and the Chattahoochee River resides the West Shawmut community. In Spite of! is a time-captured portrait of humble beginnings transformed to hardworking determination, overcoming impoverished circumstances with academic achievement, and overturning obstacles by divine intervention and fate. Kerry The Hawk Meadows transports the reader to a kinder, gentler, and more peaceful time in life to a quiet, leave-your-door-open community of neighborly down-home, homegrown, genuine, sit-on-the-front-porch, yall-sit-a-spell, real folks. The detailed imagery is steeped in thoughtful homespun language and old-school relics as old as rabbit-ear antennae wrapped in aluminum foil, outhouses, and eight-track cassette tapes.

Book Carnivore Cooking for Cool Dudes

Download or read book Carnivore Cooking for Cool Dudes written by Brad Kearns and published by Bradventures LLC. This book was released on 2019-12-06 with total page 397 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The carnivore diet has emerged as an extremely compelling and scientifically validated strategy to drop excess body fat quickly, heal from assorted autoimmune, inflammatory, and leaky gut conditions, and dramatically elevate the nutrient density of your diet. While uncool naysayer dudes will dismiss the carnivore diet out of hand as crazy or even dangerous, these Cool Dudes will give you the straight scoop about the rationale for and benefits of eating sustainably-raised, nose-to-tail animal foods. This can be done with a strict protocol to address chronic ailments, or with a carnivore-ish strategy where certain less-offensive plant foods (e.g., fruit, dark chocolate, guacamole) are included in delicious recipes and snacks. This fun-loving but highly informative book will help you sort through the hype and misinformation about carnivore, and gain insights from some of the world's leading carnivore advocates like Dr. Paul Saladino and Dr. Shawn Baker. For example, with the intestinal microbiome widely regarded as the next frontier of health and medical science, you'll learn why a carnivore eating pattern can spark a dramatic reconstitution of gut bacteria and an improvement in damaged gut lining in only a few days. By restricting otherwise healthy plant foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, those with leaky gut or lectin sensitivity have experienced truly mind-blowing health improvements. What's more, the high satiety and easy compliance with carnivore can help you shed excess body fat quickly, without having to suffer from calorie restriction, extreme workouts and frequent backslides and burnout. The three Cool Dudes--Brad, Brian and William--health experts who walk their talk, enjoy life, perform magnificent athletic feats fueled by meat, and are nice to their wives and strangers alike, give you everything you need to succeed in this award-winning book. You'll learn the right way to implement a nose-to-tail carnivore eating strategy featuring a strategic variety of sustainably raised animal foods like grassfed meat, pastured eggs, wild-caught seafood, and the true superfoods of the planet: liver and other nutrient-dense organ meats. You'll also pick up some cool fitness and lifestyle tips to help support your dietary transition instead of compromise it. Forget the hassle and complexity of typical cookbook offerings and enjoy 97 delicious, quick and easy carnivore-friendly recipes. Isn't it about time for you to become a lean, mean, athletic, smart, happy, tan cool dude? This book will help you get there, and have fun along the way.

Download or read book Libation written by Kimani S. K. Nehusi and published by UPA. This book was released on 2015-12-28 with total page 265 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book concerns the origins, structure, purpose, meaning, and significance of libation, developments and change within the ritual, and its distribution in the Afrikan world. Libation is a liquid offering by and behalf of all humanity, those living and those yet-to-be-born, to the Creator, to other divinities, to ancestors, and to the environment. Through this ritual Afrikans affirm and re-establish cosmic balance, interconnection and interdependence: the harmony and balance, connection and interdependency within, between and among humans, the environment, the spirit world, and the Creator. The text connects the practice of libation throughout the prodigious time/space correlation occupied by the Afrikan experience of life, connects Afrikans to their social history, and so to themselves across generations in different spaces and times. The methodology is at once both multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary. The methods and techniques of history, linguistics, cultural studies, literature and other human sciences are deployed to develop a comprehensive reconstruction, description and analysis of a ritual that has long been antique, but has never become antiquated.

Book excerpt: The New York Times bestseller from the author of How to Invent Everything and To Be or Not To Be Romeo loves Juliet. Or Rosaline. And Juliet loves Romeo. Or Viola. Or Orlando. It's Shakespeare as you've never played him before. In this choose-your-own-path version of Romeo and Juliet, you choose where the story goes every time you read! What if Romeo never met Juliet? What if Juliet got really buff instead of moping around the castle all day? What if they teamed up to take over Verona with robot suits? Whatever your adventure, you're guaranteed to find lots of romance, lots of epic fight scenes, and plenty of questionable decision-making by very emotional teens. All of the endings—there are over a hundred—feature beautiful illustrations by some of the greatest artists working today, including New York Times bestsellers Kate Beaton, Noelle Stevenson, Randall Munroe, and Jon Klassen. Packed with exciting choices, fun puzzles, secret surprises, terrible puns, and more than a billion possible storylines, Romeo and/or Juliet offers a new experience every time you read it. You can choose to play as Romeo or Juliet (obviously) but you can also play as both of them, or as Juliet's nurse, or, if you're good, you can even unlock a fourth playable character! That's right. We figured out how to have unlockable characters in books. Choose well, and you may even get to write the world's most awkward choose-your-own sex scene.
