Book Knowledge and the Keys to Open the Door

Download or read book Knowledge and the Keys to Open the Door written by Derrick Hill and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2013-04-02 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This material is unlocking the mystery behind the true essence of knowledge or the information period. This is a lost understanding between those in the Body of Christ and out of the Body of Christ. We tend to mix up the idea that if we are not doing this or doing that we are not gaining knowledge. But infact we are gaining knowledge all the time but it is about what we are gaining and what we are doing with it. Many of us sit years in the pews of a church and never go any further with the teaching we recieve. We never become a sounding board to another or even offer to raise a voice at injustice unless it is in the comforts of our own livingrooms. Then there are some that feels that life have given them such a raw deal that they have to turn to the darkside of life in order to just put bread on the table. What we are missing is that the enemy is willing to let each of us do just that be quite and go over to the other side just as long as we are not effective toward helping another fine Christ. Who do you think is more dangerous one who knows the truth and says nothing or one who is seeking the truth and trying to survive the best they know. Knowledge gain open doors as well as shut them and lead you to some doors that you don't want to go in. Here is the question what knowledge are you learning and what are you doing with it?

Book Florilegia Syriaca Mapping a Knowledge Organizing Practice in the Syriac World

Download or read book Florilegia Syriaca Mapping a Knowledge Organizing Practice in the Syriac World written by Emiliano Fiori and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2023-02-17 with total page 399 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the 6th century onwards, Syriac patristic florilegia – collections of Greek patristic excerpts in Syriac translation – progressively became a prominent form through which Syriac and Arab Christians shaped their knowledge of theology. In these collections, early Greek Christian literature underwent a substantial process of selection and re-organization. The papers collected in this volume study Syriac florilegia in their own right, as cultural products possessing their own specific textuality, and outline a phenomenology of Syriac patristic florilegia by mapping their diffusion and relevance in time and space, from the 6th to the 17th century, from the Roman Empire to China.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is it still possible to write something new and valuable about the Revelation? The subject of Revelation has always been an intriguing one for both believers and non-believers who, for centuries, have devoted themselves to studying and examining it. Consequently, many scholars have shared their view about it but, almost all of them, appear to be in contrast with one another. Indeed, never in time existed a continuous interpretation as every reader approaches the text from a distinct perspective. Nonetheless, it has always been evident that the key to Revelations lies within the pages of the Holy Scriptures. With this notion in mind, The Book For Our Time! – a translation of the original manuscript published in 1872 – was written in order to research and understand along with readers, to find the true end and fulfilment of Revelation and, in so doing, bring a sense of purpose to those who read it. Willy Louis Jeanne De Smedt (8/2/1931 – 25/8/2017) Born in Belgium, he moved with his parents to the Democratic Republic of the Congo where he attended a Catholic School. Always serious about religion, he wished to become a priest but eventually decided not to pursue his dream. After moving to South Africa where he qualified as a millwright at Iscor, Willy started working as a math teacher at the Military Technical College. During a service in the New Apostolic Church, Willy heard and learned about the Day of The First Resurrection. That’s when the project of The Book For Our time! started to take form; from his desire to inform people about the salvation plan of God. He died in 2017, due to Leukemia.
