But rather for those young believers to the faith of Christ Jesus, giving simplicity to the word of God and His kingdom existence. This short book is to capture the attention of the less attentive reader, who often times get side track while reading long drawn out books. You will find an interesting revelation on the kingdom of God and His Principles, Laws and Standards that governs His Domain. In my book, I seek to bring a graphic image to the reader and give insights on how we are to relate and represent God's kingdom to this new generation. Certainly the world has changed but the structure of God's kingdom has not and will not change but we must Re-Think, Re-Introduce and Re-Educate about His kingdom. In this book, you will learn about three kingdoms, God's kingdom, the Earthly kingdom and the Animal's kingdom, linking how they are in like similarities in structure. I hope by reading this book, you can learn how to apply the Principles and Standards of the kingdom of God to your lives and begin to live life in excellence, while Glorifying God. Remember Kingdom Preparation is designed to prepare YOU for God's kingdom, by teaching you how to live everyday holy and righteous.

Book excerpt: Author Elaine Faucett received a modern vision to outline the deeper meaning for the kingdoms of the world, the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of heaven, and now she seeks to share it with others. The Three Boxes: Book of Kingdoms offers an extraordinary pictorial vison imaging the world kingdom and God’s kingdom. It delves into important portrayals for any Christian and non-Christian to know in these end times. This exploration also provides an imperative vision for the present time. The Bible is the only necessary source for understanding and personal knowledge of God, but here you can find a clear vision of the world kingdom, God’s kingdom, and His kingdom of heaven. You are invited to look inside the mystery of heaven and of God’s kingdom and discover the characteristics and qualities that make each kingdom unique. This spiritual study combines the revelation of a vision with personal prayer and examination of scripture to reveal the deeper connections among the kingdoms of the world, God, and heaven.

Download or read book Pastor Craft written by John T Pless and published by New Reformation Publications. This book was released on 2021-12-14 with total page 667 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has grown out of a ministry that has spanned nearly four decades. It is built around the conviction that theology does matter for theology has to do with words from God, words spoken back to God and words spoken to the world. Luther once remarked something to the effect that the cross alone is our theology. Before Luther there was the Apostle Paul who came to the Corinthians with "the word of the cross" (1 Cor. 1:18) determined to know nothing among them but Jesus Christ and Him crucified (see 1 Cor. 2:2). In essays, sermons, and homiletical studies this volume seeks to continue that apostolic aim. A significant portion of this book is devoted to sermons. Sermons, of course, are written to be preached rather than published. None the less, there is value in reading sermons. Such reading is a way of meditating on God's Word. This reading might also prompt other preachers to explore an overlooked dimension of a text for their proclamation. Sermons are never generic; they always have a context. Many of these sermons were preached in Kramer Chapel on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne where the author has served as a professor since 2000. These sermons are preaching for future preachers, equipping them in the way of Luther's oratio, meditatio, and tentatio for the burdens and joys of the pastoral office. There are occasional sermons from conferences, funerals, and ordinary congregations. Over the years, Prof. Pless has preached at over thirty ordinations or installations of pastors. A sampling of these sermons are included. They bear the imprint of the bond that exist between professor and student. More importantly they promote Jesus Christ as the Lord who calls men into the ministry and enlivens and sustains them there with His Gospel for the good of His flock. The remainder of the book is devoted to essays in pastoral theology covering the range of the author's interest from Hermann Sasse to vocation, liturgical practice to the Small Catechism, challenges to confessional Lutheranism in North America to the office of the ministry. Many of these essays originated at conferences both in the USA and abroad. The contents of this volume flow from the pulpit, desk, and podium of a man who seeks not novelty or creativity but faithfulness to the word of the cross.

Download or read book Pro Rege written by Abraham Kuyper and published by Lexham Press. This book was released on 2016-07-13 with total page 414 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Abraham Kuyper wrote Pro Rege to bridge the divide between believers' lives inside and outside the church. He believed that a healthy view of Jesus' kingship was essential to closing that gap. In this first volume, Kuyper discusses how Satan's kingdom opposes, undermines, and obscures Christ's kingship. He then lays out the kingship of Christ according to Scripture. From his vantage point at the dawn of the 20th century, Kuyper explains the scope of Christ's dominion over all of life in his own culture--yet does so in a way that also strikingly impacts the 21st-century reader. This new translation of Pro Rege, created in partnership with the Abraham Kuyper Translation Society and the Acton Institute, is part of a major series of new translations of Kuyper's most important writings. The Abraham Kuyper Collected Works in Public Theology marks a historic moment in Kuyper studies, aimed at deepening and enriching the church's development of public theology.

Book excerpt: Jesus' teaching on the Kingdom of God is the core of his message. But do you understand it? We are so used to nicely crafted sermons and tidy Christian platitudes, that we are shocked when we encounter the radical Jesus. And radical he was! With his cousin, John the Baptist, he came onto the scene and began to preach that the Kingdom of God was at hand. The Reign of God had come to first century Palestine in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. What is this Kingdom of God? Why is it Good News? Why does it demand so much from you? How does it relate to your own life? As you come to grips with the raw truths that Jesus taught, without the sugarcoating of modern religion, your life will be changed! This book explores the Kingdom of God in 10 lessons that can be used for personal enrichment, by small groups and classes, and by teachers and preachers for sermon preparation.

Download or read book Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers written by Philip Schaff and published by Cosimo, Inc.. This book was released on 2007-05-01 with total page 596 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Council of Nicaea in 325 AD marked the beginning of a new era in Christianity. For the first time, doctrines were organized into a single creed. The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers did most of their writing during and after this important event in Church history. Unlike the previous era of Christian writing, the Nicene and Post-Nicene era is dominated by a few very important and prolific writers. In Volume VII of the 14-volume collected writings of the Nicenes and Post-Nicenes (first published between 1886 and 1889), readers will discover Saint Augustines commentaries on the writings of John and his first writings as a newly converted Christian. In the Soliloquies, Augustine reasons through his conversion, trying to justify his new faith; these are intensely personal journeys toward truth, the product of a thoughtful soul seeking comfort and reassurance. Spiritual seekers wavering in their faith may find both sections of this book helpful in exploring their beliefs."
