  • Pages : 193 pages

Download or read book YHWH written by Terry R. Kern and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2024-08-27 with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: YHWH Billions of people all around the earth believe in the existence of a Supreme Being that we call by His title, God. The very first verse of the Old Testament of the Jewish and Christian Bible tells us "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) But the vast majority of those people who read the Bible (Jew or Gentile) do not know that "God" is not His name. He has a name - a proper name and His personal name - but most people do not even know what it is. In addition to that, He has made it extremely clear throughout the Bible that His name is very important to Him. His name has deep and powerful meaning and He has told us that it is His name forever. He has also repeatedly declared that He wants to be known by His name throughout the whole earth. His name is even printed in the Bible over 6828 times. That's right. He had the writers of the Bible write down His name that many times. So, what is His name? YHWH is His name. This book is about YHWH. It is "all about His name." Pastor Terry grew up on a farm in northern North Dakota. He met his wife, Sandie, at college, and they recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. YHWH blessed them with four wonderful sons and eight wonderful grandchildren. After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1979, Pastor Terry has pastored churches in Texas, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Currently he is the Pastor of Teaching and Preaching at Truth Fellowship Live Church in Bismarck, North Dakota. Truth Fellowship Live (TFL) is a church that was planted in 2010 by Pastor Terry and a group of men and women who were committed to having a church where YHWH's Word is faithfully and carefully taught and proclaimed. This is in accordance with the direct and specific command of 2 Timothy 4:1--5. This Scriptural admonition to pastors and church leaders has been Pastor Terry's mission, vision, and passion throughout his life of being YHWH's servant

Book The Bible a Twenty First Century Assessment

Download or read book The Bible a Twenty First Century Assessment written by Ordinary Immortal and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2012-07-31 with total page 123 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about truth. It is a sword that separates biblical fact from decaying human dogmatic tradition. Reminiscent of the days of Martin Luther, it provides an extensive reality check of the Holy Scripture. This assessment is not to provoke disharmony but instead to promote honesty and provide heretofore shunned accuracy. The author believes that God is not threatened by the concept of truth. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:1617 The author has resisted proposing his personal interpretation or perspective. He believes that the Bible interprets itself and that no one is authorized ones own interpretation. Therefore, Scripture is used primarily without interjection. The author presents an unbiased review of not his own ideas but an impartial assessment of Scripture with reference to highly significant topics. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:89 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24 The revelations will shake the foundations of false belief and will profoundly affect all those who call upon God in their pursuit of spiritual truth. The realism of unadulterated Scripture may challenge you and possibly shake your beliefs, but to worship God, truth must be paramount.

Book The Heart of a son or daughter

Download or read book The Heart of a son or daughter written by Gery Malanda and published by Gery Malanda. This book was released on with total page 67 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As we develop in our relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we marvel at His sacrifice for us and His body the Church. Often this prompts a desire for us to go and serve in His kingdom. However, many born again believers do not know why they serve their Heavenly Father or know the right and biblical attitude they should adopt when they are serving their Lord. Brother Gery Malanda (Apostle and Leader of House Of Prayer For All Nations-Europe and Teacher on TBN’s Voice of Healing UK) gives a succinct look at what the bible teaches on our approach in working in the kingdom of God. Brother Gery looks at the example of Jesus Christ and His teachings as well as his own personal experiences to a look at; Am I a slave of Jesus or God? I am friend of God, Jesus our model of a Son who is serving His Father and is also a friend, kings and priest serving their Lord and emphasises that God loves us and He is not trying to punish us. Brother Gery further explores Jesus’s teachings on what should be our attitudes when serving our enemies, attitudes towards different people and explores the meaning of the ‘washing of the feet’. Lastly, he touches on a Leading servant. If you are thinking of helping out in the church in whatever capacity, this book will help you address some of the insecurities that arises as one starts working with other believers. It will help address some of the barriers that may arise but most importantly helps us to adopt the right attitude that is pleasing to our Lord Jesus Christ. A must read!!

Book New Testament Verses Clarified by Old Testament Verses

Download or read book New Testament Verses Clarified by Old Testament Verses written by Dr. Bruce A. Klein, Th.D. and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2012-10-12 with total page 455 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has the value of a commentary. A different kind of commentary; it uses the Old Testament verses as commentary on a New Testament verse. It is composed of New Testament verses found in the left hand column with Old Testament verses in the right hand column. Every quote from the Old Testament found in the New Testament is given. Plus, many O.T. verses are given to interpret the teaching(s) found in the New Testament verse. The context for the New Testament is the Old Testament. Old Testament verses are the schoolmaster. The O. T. verses should be used to interpret the N. T. verses. This book can be used as a devotional by reading portions daily then meditating on those Scriptures. This book is a great reference tool for writing sermons and Bible studies. There are untold gems to be gleaned by comparing the Old Testament and the New Testament! This is the way Jesus, Peter, Paul, etc. taught in the synagogues; they quoted from the O.T. giving N.T. application and meaning.

Download or read book Numbers written by R. J. Rushdoony and published by Chalcedon Foundation. This book was released on 2009-11-23 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Lord desires a people who will embrace their responsibilities. The history of Israel in the wilderness is a sad narrative of a people with hearts hardened by complaint and rebellion to God's ordained authorities. They were slaves, not an army. They would recognize the tyranny of Pharaoh but disregard the servant-leadership of Moses. God would judge the generation He led out of captivity, while training a new generation to conquer Canaan. The book of Numbers reveals God's dealings with both generations. The rebellious in Israel are judged incessantly while a census is taken to number the armies of Israel according to their tribes. This was an assessment of strength and a means to encourage the younger generation to view themselves as God's army and not Pharaoh's slaves.
