Or, maybe you do have some inclination that you are “bigger” than your current surroundings. You want to do more. You want to be more. You want to have more. Nothing superficial about your intentions. You simply want a better life. You are tired of the mundane and mediocre lifestyles you have grown accustomed to watching and being a part of. You feel unsettled and misunderstood. You can’t keep a job because you get bored easily or because you outgrow the people there to the point where they begin to resent you. You feel like a misfit. You’ve been somewhat of a “Blacksheep” in your family. You can’t seem to understand why people are unable to accept you for who you are and love themselves the way you instinctively believe they should. If we could all just get along and be one happy family you sometimes think… Believe it or not- you are a king in the making. You are the one God chose to make things right. To establish His definition of love, loyalty, and mercy. How are you going to do this? You probably have not figured that out yet. I am here to help you on this journey. The journey to establishing yourself as God’s chosen vessel on earth. To be used for the establishment of His Kingdom and His righteousness. My friend, you are the one chosen before the foundations of the world to NOT fit in but to be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in moral purity. The world is in courtship with perversion and corruption. Yet you wonder why you stand out. Ha! When they go low- you go high high high because of the revelation of ROYALTY. This QUICK READ will provide you with the practical and spiritual tools to set yourself apart once and for all as you intentionally reinvent yourself to BECOME the man God created you to be. You were always a king. Being around the wrong people didn’t help you to see yourself the way God sees you. In truth- being around the wrong people, places and things oppressed your God-given identity. But NOW you are here- led by God to read this ebook. I pray you value the revelation in this book and that you understand it’s not about the quantity(number of pages) but the quality. You are God’s beloved. You are God’s masterpiece. You are God’s child. You are God’s servant. You are God’s son! It is time to walk and live in the God-given understanding of your identity, like never before and forever more.

Book excerpt: It started at the end. Almost everyone is dead now. Some believed that an infected bat was the culprit, while others suspected something of a more sinister nature. The Truth Keepers made it their life's mission to silence that kind of thinking. The dangerous kind, that gets people into trouble. After all, there is only one right way of thinking. There is only one truth.Anna, a sixteen-year-old girl, whose sister has been kidnapped, doesn't know what's true anymore. She can't remember a time when things were good. First, it was the virus, followed by the war, and after that, her parents died. Her sister, Sammy, is all she has left now, and she couldn't even manage to keep her safe. Anna's heard about The Island Dwellers her whole life. They're practically a legend on the island. The rumor goes that The Book Keeper, the man who held the keys to the island, hand-picked every visitor. The Book Keeper is dead now. It was all over the news before the virus took over everyone's lives and the media. The Island Dwellers are still alive and well, though. Anna knows this because they are the ones who took her sister. It had to be them. They are the only other survivors.Anna devises a plan to get her sister back, but nothing could prepare her for what she is about to walk into. What used to be a secret society no longer needs to be kept a secret. More importantly, who is going to stop The Island Dwellers? Certainly, not The Dawn, their new reigning King. A vicious man, who takes pleasure in stealing the innocence of young girls and boys. The end is here, a ruthless ruler, a cunning queen, an innocent girl, held captive--only a few will make it out alive.Fans of The Butterfly Garden and The Girl Before will enjoy King Amongst KingsWarning: Contains sexual violence which may be a trigger for some readers...

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Based on three years of anthropological fieldwork in the Indian state of Rajasthan, Casting Kings explores the manner in which semi-nomadic performers known as Bhats understand, and also subvert, caste hierarchies. A number of scholars have recently contended that caste is invented and thus a fiction of a kind. But focus in these studies is typically placed on the way caste is imagined according to the agendas and desires of elite Westerners such as colonial officials. In this book, by contrast, the author argues that Bhats themselves understand the imaginative dimensions of caste relations. Indeed, such insights are shown to lie at the heart of the Bhats traditional profession of praise- and insult-singing. Likewise, the author demonstrates how the ability to cleverly rework and even sabotage lingering caste inequalities continues to form the basis for Bhat claims to status and dignity in contemporary India.

Book excerpt: Roberto Castaneda, the dashing commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Dominican Republic, has freed his beloved country from the ravages of the Civil War and settled down with his beautiful bride, Shane. Unfortunately, Shane is adored not only by Roberto, but also by an unlikely admirer with the potential to destroy them all. Unaware that danger lurks in the shadows, Roberto and Shane live seemingly ordinary lives in a large villa in Monte Cristi, where they have raised their three children, twins Frederik and Enrique and their younger sister, Camille. Housed behind their villa is the headquarters of the world-famous group of specially trained bodyguards called Da Elegidos, the brainchild of Ramon Rubenstein, the eccentric family bodyguard who has been with the Castanedas for over twenty-five years and who is now husband to their daughter, Camille. But when Sierra Castille, an extremely dangerous she-devil, moves in next door to the Castenedas, no one has any idea of the power behind her poisonous tentacles. In this continuing tale of life, unconditional love, tragedy, and death, the one forever tortured by forbidden love for the woman he cannot have is about to make a move that will change everything.

Starting with King Shaka, the renowned founder of the Zulu kingdom, he charts the lives of the kings Dingane, Mpande, Cetshwayo, Dinuzulu, Solomon and Cyprian, to today's King Goodwill Zwelithini whose role is little more than ceremonial. In the course of this investigation Laband places the Zulu monarchy in the context of African kingship and tracks and analyses the trajectory of the Zulu kings from independent and powerful pre-colonial African rulers to largely powerless traditionalist figures in post-apartheid South Africa.
