The impression that those memories and experiences had to guide him from the assumed destiny based on poverty and limited chances, to the destiny that he chose to achieve.My youthful experiences shared by my friends were prompted by the desperation and feeling of uselessness shared by many young people in that situation.I put this story in permanent written form for my children and or grandchildren to read and understand their father/grandfather better.My children know some of these stories but not all of them. They know them in disjointed fashion and not in totality. Most of my youthful history I am not proud of. The only gratification is the learning experience that these activities offered in later years. My juvenile record is not public knowledge, and no one can discover my misdeeds other than by my admissions in this book.I am not proud of these things in my juvenile history. I recognize that they helped mold the person that is writing this autobiography. For that I am grateful.I am satisfied with the man I am today. I am not complacent at being this man. There is always room for improvement and that I will seek.This story screams of the hand of God in my life. Thank God I chose to listen.
