In July 2007, the survey covered the Strait of Georgia region and was consistent with the standard surveys that had been conducted between 1998 and 2006. Additional sampling was conducted in Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait, Bute Inlet, Desolation Sound, Puget Sound (United States) and Juan de Fuca Strait.
