Contained in this bundle are three passionate and steamy lesbian romance love stories that all end with happy endings. Follow along with three couples as they each discover new things about themselves, and experience bliss and joy with each other. Contained in this collection are the following three books: Changes, Desire: This Lesbian Love, and Feel of Her. * Changes Every now and then, something happens to us… And we change. Not just a small change. Not just a tweak here or a nudge there. No, a drastic change. Something fundamental. After my sister died was when I changed. After my sister died was when I met her, and she helped me through my grief. She was beautiful… stole my attention from the moment I saw her. She was sexy as sin, too. My stomach knotted when she came close. And when she spoke to me, I found I felt instantly better. I felt less sad. I felt… complete. I was falling for this woman. She was simply amazing. The problem is… I’m not gay. I’m not a lesbian. So why do I feel these things for her? Why do I feel like I’m crossing over into another world? And, most terrifying of all… …Is it possible she loves me back? * Desire: This Lesbian Love After giving up on the idea of marriage to a man, Harriet is starting over. More than ever, she’s focused on finding herself and what she wants in life, and when the opportunity to move in with Zoelle presents itself, she can hardly say no. After all, she needs a new place to live, and the arrangement with Zoelle seems like it would be perfect... and not just because she finds herself exceedingly attracted to the young woman, something Harriet is not entirely familiar with... Zoelle leads a quiet, private life - but you wouldn’t know it from the outside. Confident and assertive, most assume her sense of self to be unshakeable, but in reality, she longs for love... and finds it hard to make the first move. When, through the help of a mutual friend, she secures an arrangement to be roommates with Harriet, she’s floored by how gorgeous she finds the woman. She craves her attention, desires her touch... but she doesn’t know if Harriet feels the same way. Will these two new roommates struggling to find love open up to each other, and see that what they’re looking for is hiding in plain sight? And will Harriet allow herself to change in a fundamental way... for the chance at happiness? * Feel of Her After surviving a near-fatal car crash, recovering Christina doesn’t know if she can handle returning back to normal life. She has life-long injuries and scarring, daily reminders of the night she nearly lost her life. And daily reminders of how damaged she is now… nobody could possibly want her. Her long-term boyfriend already dumped her. But Christina finds support where she didn’t know she would: Her friend Sandra. The woman is gentle and supportive, and Christina starts to think about Sandra in a different way. She daydreams about the tall woman’s toned, beautiful legs, about that pretty smile, and those full lips. As time passes, and Christina and Sandra spend more time together, Christina realizes she’s falling… hard. How could she be falling in love with another woman? Why was she changing now? And would Sandra feel the same way?

Book We Want What s Ours

    Book Details:
  • Author : Bernadette Atuahene
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2014
  • ISBN : 0198714637
  • Pages : 207 pages

Download or read book We Want What s Ours written by Bernadette Atuahene and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page 207 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Millions of people all over the world have been displaced from their homes and property. Dispossessed individuals and communities often lose more than the physical structures they live in and their material belongings, they are also denied their dignity. These are dignity takings, and land dispossessions occurring in South Africa during colonialism and apartheid are quintessential examples. There have been numerous examples of dignity takings throughout the world, but South Africa stands apart because of its unique remedial efforts. The nation has attempted to move beyond the more common step of providing reparations (compensation for physical losses) to instead facilitating dignity restoration, which is a comprehensive remedy that seeks to restore property while also confronting the underlying dehumanization, infantilization, and political exclusion that enabled the injustice. Dignity restoration is the fusion of reparations with restorative justice. In We Want What's Ours, Bernadette Atuahenes detailed research and interviews with over one hundred and fifty South Africans who participated in the nations land restitution program provide a snapshot of South Africas successes and failures in achieving dignity restoration. We Want What's Ours is globally relevant because dignity takings have happened all around the world and throughout history: the Nazi confiscation of property from Jews during World War II; the Hutu taking of property from Tutsis during the Rwandan genocide; the widespread commandeering of native peoples property across the globe; and Saddam Husseins seizing of property from the Kurds and others in Iraq are but a few examples. When people are deprived of their property and dignity in years to come, the lessons learned in South Africa can help governments, policy makers, scholars, and international institutions make the transition from reparations to the more robust project of dignity restoration.

Book His Suffering and Ours

Download or read book His Suffering and Ours written by Kathryn Mulderink and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2006-03 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Our suffering is of many kinds - spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, psychological. It may be inflicted on us from outside ourselves, or be churned up from within us by forces we little understand. This collection arranged around Christ's Seven Last Words is meant to enliven the hope and peace that lead to joy in suffering and allow us to embrace our cross. It is a reminder of what is always certain: that God IS, that God is LOVE, that LOVE created us, that we ARE because God first loved us, that His love never wearies or wavers. "We all long for such genuine helps and such sweet reminders as this.there is a profound truth in every other line, and the rest is you singing to Him. That is what you represent to others, Kathryn -- His unconditional love, along with your own. It comes through so beautifully." Carol O'Reilly, TCRNews.com

Book Ours to Lose

  • Author : Amy Starecheski
  • Publisher : University of Chicago Press
  • Release : 2016-11-07
  • ISBN : 022639994X
  • Pages : 327 pages

Download or read book Ours to Lose written by Amy Starecheski and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2016-11-07 with total page 327 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Before the Lower East Side was one of the most expensive and heavily gentrified neighborhoods in New York City, it was infamous as a site of class conflict, abandonment, and open-air drug dealing. With a deep radical history and a thriving arts scene, it was also the incubator for a squatting movement that blended urban homesteading and European-style squatting into something never before seen in the United States. Ours to Lose by anthropologist and historian Amy Starecheski follows a diverse group of Lower East Side squatters as they occupied abandoned city-owned buildings in the 1980s, defended them for decades, and then, in 2002, began a long and difficult process of converting their illegal occupation into legal cooperative ownership. This book does not just tell an interesting story about housing in New York. It uses this case to shed light on how property is crucial to our sense of ourselves as social beings. Starecheski also draws out surprising lessons about homeownership and the morality of debt in post-recession America. This is a timely contribution to the literature on urban housing, inequality, and direct political action by socially marginalized New Yorkers living just a few blocks from Wall Street.

Book This Roar Of Ours

Download or read book This Roar Of Ours written by Jim Bowman and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2011-08-26 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is an obvious movement taking place in America today. Its roar is unmistakable. This work is a humble attempt to identify and discuss some of the particulars influencing our Country today. Although some concerns travel back over fifteen years, they still remain pertinent and effecting. My approach to our Nation’s ailments may seem out of sync or infuriating at first, yet, isn’t this reaction indicative of just how far we’ve strayed from our experiment of freedom and individual liberty? My point is that much of what currently ails America can be simply cured through both ample doses of individual responsibility and Constitutional allegiance. Hopefully, you will agree.

Book Ours

    Book Details:
  • Author : Peter Barnes
  • Publisher : John Wiley & Sons
  • Release : 2021-06-11
  • ISBN : 1509544844
  • Pages : 88 pages

Download or read book Ours written by Peter Barnes and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2021-06-11 with total page 88 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We think our wealth today comes from productive corporations and workers, but they merely add icing to a cake baked long ago. In this provocative book, Peter Barnes argues that most of today's wealth is co-inherited from nature and past human efforts, not individually earned. If some of that co-inherited wealth were placed in trust for each of us, living and yet-to-be born – creating what Barnes calls “universal property” – capitalism would be fundamentally transformed. As Barnes notes, capitalism as we know it has two tragic flaws: it relentlessly widens inequality and destroys nature. Both flaws are a result of one-sided property rights that favor capital over everything else. Adding universal property to the current property mix would create a market economy in which businesses prosper, nature’s limits are respected, and a large middle class thrives. This smart and concise book could set the agenda for a post-COVID world.
