Book I Know How to Set Goals so Why Don t I Achieve Them

Download or read book I Know How to Set Goals so Why Don t I Achieve Them written by Nick Hall PhD and published by Gildan Media LLC aka G&D Media. This book was released on 2018-11-06 with total page 82 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Millions of people set goals every year, only to fall short of achieving them (if they ever begin at all) over and over again. There are scores of books on how to set goals, but few if any that deal what to do when your best laid plans never materialize. In this cutting-edge book by Dr. Nick Hall, I Know How to Set Goals, So Why Don't I Achieve Them?, you'll learn the latest in neuroscience and psychology on how to make sure you reach every goal you set. In order to achieve goals, you must begin by removing, or at least minimizing, potential impediments to success. There are many, however, the most crippling are those that reside within your mind. Granted, changes in the economy, the actions of others, and unexpected obstacles can derail even the most worthy plans despite the best intentions. But they pale in comparison to the impact your thoughts have. That's because you don't respond to reality. You respond to a mental image of reality. It is the image that gives rise to emotion, which in turn will motivate you to approach or avoid. We tend to approach those things associated with positive emotions such as love and joy, and avoid those linked with negative emotions such as disgust and sadness. In addition, the image is driving the endocrine and autonomic nervous system pathways, which provide the biological foundation of the entire stress response. This is important to understand because it enables you to always have control over the impact events have upon your mental and physical well-being. You can't always control external events. But after reading this book, you'll learn that you can always exert a measure of control over your perception of those events.

However, I had many experiences that I thought I would share, since the idea of seeing spirits have become conversational. I remember the first time I witness something no one else could see; I was only a little girl. I didnt understand what I was witnessing. However, as I became of age and every time I witness something that wasnt there, I assumed I was going crazy. Nevertheless, the more stories I heard of spirits and that other people was experiencing the same thing I was. I know longer believed I was curse. However, over time I assumed that if I would pretend I didnt see anything. They would go away. Nevertheless, that didnt happen. I cant say that all my days of seeing spirits was bad experience some were good. While reading my book of chilling night stories Im not sure if you felt my book was fiction or not. Nevertheless, they were real experience with a little added affects. Out of all my experiences, the event that still haunts me on occasion is the devil. When I was living an ungodly life, I never experience such an event like that. However, when I decided to turn my life over to God, he appeared out of nowhere. The story that holds true to my heart is the phone call from my brother. When I lost my brother, my life had ended. I no longer wanted to exist without him. However, that phone call gave me the opportunity to see that he was happy. No one wants to loss a love one and no one wants to hear that his or her love one has moved on to a better place. However, his phone call allowed me to believe that they do. I hope you enjoyed reading about my ghostly experience. Even though it felt good to finally, share my experiences. It brought back many memories. In addition, I found myself not being able to sleep with the light off.

An advertising executive receives a postcard from a friend and casually appropriates the image for an advertisement. What he doesn’t realize is that included in the scene is a mutant sheep with a star on its back, and in using this photo he has unwittingly captured the attention of a man who offers a menacing ultimatum: find the sheep or face dire consequences.
