En cada actividad o juego aparece una serie de indicaciones sumamente útiles para aquellos que quieran ponerlo en práctica, como son: la edad a la que se dirige, el número de jugadores, el material necesario, el tiempo de preparación, así como la duración del juego y variantes del mismo. También se menciona, específicamente, si las actividades son más apropiadas para jugar en un espacio interior o al aire libre. Todos los juegos descritos en el libro requieren muy poco o ningún material y son de fácil preparación y ejecución.
