Book Fascism and the Right in Europe 1919 1945

Download or read book Fascism and the Right in Europe 1919 1945 written by Martin Blinkhorn and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2014-07-22 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This new text places interwar European fascism squarely in its historical context and analyses its relationship with other right wing, authoritarian movements and regimes. Beginning with the ideological roots of fascism in pre-1914 Europe, Martin Blinkhorn turns to the problem-torn Europe of 1919 to 1939 in order to explain why fascism emerged and why, in some settings, it flourished while in others it did not. In doing so he considers not just the 'major' fascist movements and regimes of Italy and Germany but the entire range of fascist and authoritarian ideas, movements and regimes present in the Europe of 1919-1945.

Since he was a small kid, he wanted to draw Cartoon characters that he had seen on the screen. These Cartoons were magical to him. The screen was no longer a flat surface but a window opening new worlds and other realities. After having practiced drawing through all his childhood and adolescence, he eventually had his first break into the industry in 1977 as a storyboard artist. Working for several years for the French TV channel TF1 and other studios in Paris, he eventually got the opportunity to fly to Sydney Australia in 1982 to work on a TV series. Another five years passed before he could enter the feature film arena for the big screen. Since, many major Hollywood studios employed him as a character animator on sixteen different productions. This allowed him to make some great encounters with big names in the Hollywood animation industry. Today he occupies the position of senior lecturer at SIDM (School of Interactive Digital Media) at Nanyang Polytechnic of Singapore; teaching students the arcanes of Classical animation. This book tells the story of his long journey into the world of Cartoons.

Book Authentic Marketing

Download or read book Authentic Marketing written by Larry Weber and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2019-01-04 with total page 141 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Engage on a deeper level by disrupting the typical business development script Authentic Marketing offers a forward-thinking approach to achieving an entirely new level of engagement with today’s purpose-driven and skeptical audiences. The heart of this process involves finding the soul of your organization. When moral purpose becomes central to your organization, it can deliver benefits to both the bottom line and mankind: a profit meets purpose proposition. This path requires a reinvention of today’s dated business model, abolishing the inefficient, siloed approach of developing a business strategy first and then later creating separate strategies for marketing, HR, manufacturing, R&D, etc. The new integrated model fuses a tight integration of business, technology innovation and engagement strategies, all of which are bound together by a company’s moral purpose. When moral purpose is central to an organization’s core, everything branches out from a place of authenticity. Rather than a siloed CSR effort, you develop employee and customer relationships based on real—not curated—connections with a brand’s moral mission. You build true engagement, trust and evangelism. And, along the way, your customers will actually help to co-create your brand. This book shows you how to transform your business by putting moral purpose to work for your stakeholders and the planet. Embrace a new model that integrates business, technology innovation, and engagement strategies with moral purpose as the glue that binds them together Learn the key steps to find your moral purpose Discover how to engage audiences with a transparent, authentic marketing approach that forges powerful connections and builds trust. With a world of options at their fingertips, today’s purpose-driven customers want a brand they can identify with and trust. Authentic Marketing shows you how to make your brand more human, more likeable, more genuine and guides you on how to connect with audiences on a moral level. This process will build a new level of engagement that will benefit both your long-term value and the world.

Book Life With Mother

Download or read book Life With Mother written by Clarence Day and published by Prabhat Prakashan. This book was released on 2021-01-01 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Life With Mother' is a humorous autobiographical book of stories compiled in 1935 by American author and cartoonist Clarence Day Jr. He wrote humorously about his family and life. "Most of the chapters of this book were published before Clarence's death, but some were still in manuscript. These had to be sorted carefully because he had a habit of writing on whatever scrap of paper was handy--backs of envelopes, tax memoranda, or small pads of paper which he could hold in his hands on days when they were too lame for the big ones." -Editor's Note

Book Suffrage Gender and Citizenship

Download or read book Suffrage Gender and Citizenship written by Irma Sulkunen and published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This book was released on 2009 with total page 492 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This publication studies suffrage, citizenship and parliamentary reforms in various socio-political contexts. It brings together new research from a wide range of scholars and disciplines. In addition to pioneers, attention is given to Austria, Britain, Canada, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Poland, Romania, Russia and Slovenia, among others. By highlighting national differences, the collection strives to disperse the universalising trend of research. The chapters suggest that the age of suffrage narratives based on a view of universal emancipation is over; more significant are deconstructive approaches and analyses embedded in local factors.
