Both its concept and timing could not have been more appropriate, and speaking from the industrial community, I was compelled to sincerely express my respect and support to the System. The "fine ceramics R & D" project, being a part of the System and belonging to the field of new materials, has targeted the establishment of industrial structural materials that would open a new horizon which could not have been reached with existing materials, in particular with their heat resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.
