He was killed at the Battle of Point Pleasant on October 10, 1774, and was buried on the battlefield. The United States Congress declared him an 'Unheralded Patriot' in 1991, and his name was entered into the Congressional Record. This book is a biography of his life, and contains dozens of source documents proving his heroism and death at the Battle of Point Pleasant.
