Book Jiva and Jivatman

    Book Details:
  • Author : Helena Petrovna Blavatsky

  • Release : 2019-02-27
  • ISBN :
  • Pages : 7 pages

Download or read book Jiva and Jivatman written by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and published by Philaletheians UK. This book was released on 2019-02-27 with total page 7 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Occultists call the second principle of man Jiva, while the Vedantins give that name only to the seventh principle, the Divine Monad in man — a universal principle — also called Jivatman in Buddhism and Theosophy. The term Jivatman is used only by the Buddhists, who make no difference between manifested and unmanifested Life. After death, the second principle of man (Jiva-Prana) returns to its source — Fohat, the Light of Logos. There now follows a moving account by a Master of Wisdom on how, upon death, Saptaparna or the seven-leaved Man-plant withers, infolds, and its constituents return one after the other to their original state and source. Adi-Buddha and Fohat defined: Adi-Buddha is not merely a state or condition, is it Primeval Wisdom. Everyone has his Bodhisattva and his Dhyani-Buddha, “Father of the Son.” This is our connecting link with the higher Hierarchy of Celestial Beings. Fohat is the representative of the Dhyani-Chohans on the objective plane, and of the Manasaputras on the subjective. Thus Fohat is the informing divine energy.

Book The Chaitanya Vaishnava Vedanta of Jiva Gosvami

Download or read book The Chaitanya Vaishnava Vedanta of Jiva Gosvami written by Ravi M. Gupta and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2007-08-07 with total page 227 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Chaitanya Vaishnava tradition is famous for its depth of devotion to Krishna, the blue-hued Deity. Chaitanya Vaishnavas are known for having refined the practice and aesthetics of devotion into a sophisticated science. This imposing devotional edifice was constructed upon a solid foundation of philosophical argument and understanding. In this book, Ravi Gupta sheds new light on the contribution of Chaitanya Vaishnavism to the realm of Indian philosophy. He explores the hermeneutical tools employed, the historical resources harnessed, the structure of the arguments made, and the relative success of the endeavor. For most schools of Vaishnavism, the supporting foundation consists of the philosophical resources provided by Vedanta. The Chaitanya tradition is remarkable in its ability to engage in Vedantic discourse and at the same time practice an ecstatic form of devotion to Krishna. The prime architect of this balance was the scholar-devotee Jiva Gosvami (ca. 1517 - 1608). This book analyses Jiva Gosvami's writing concerning the philosophy of the Vedanta tradition. It concludes that Jiva's writing crosses 'disciplinary boundaries', for he brought into dialogue four powerful streams of classical Hinduism: the various systems of Vedanta, the ecstatic bhakti movements, the Puranic commentarial tradition, and the aesthetic rasa theory of Sanskrit poetics. With training in and commitments to all of these traditions, Jiva Gosvami produced a distinctly Chaitanya Vaishnava system of theology.

Book The living Jiva Realize your Divinity EPUB

Download or read book The living Jiva Realize your Divinity EPUB written by Cem Ilyas Eker and published by The living Jiva©. This book was released on 2024-02-25 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a systematic guide of fundamental concepts that, through the author's efforts, serve the primary purpose of recontextualizing the basic assumptions and definitions of logic to promote a deeper understanding of identity, cognitive sovereignty, self-efficacy, awareness, competence, purpose of existence, potential, flexibility of mind, subjective and objective perception, collective integrity, et cetera. The secondary purpose is for the reader to have the opportunity to benefit from the author's knowledge of his experiences with his enlightened master during his stay in a monastic complex in India and from his experiences after that time, to gain insight into the values, principles, and science of the Veda-agamic way of life based purely on the theme of enlightenment (nowadays simplified as Hinduism) as well as purely from the cognitive substance of its ancient scriptures. The author has endeavored to simplify the complexity of the above-mentioned issues as far as possible in order to ensure comprehensibility and effective use. Furthermore, the tertiary purpose of the content of this book is to demystify the author's so-called supernatural actual experiences, which are categorized as spiritual or purely subjective by the wider society, with pure rationality, to transcend cultural and religious disagreements and differences to grasp the core of the human collective as meaningfully as possible, and to shed a brighter light on authenticity. In this book, the pivotal point of the information to be presented is how much positive change the conscious determination of one's identity can bring about, how it is causally constructed, how this approach sets new standards and possibilities for an individual, and how it can evolve in a stable and healthy, as well as accelerated, multidimensional way. The author begins in the first chapters by introducing a "divine identity", which in this example comes from the Veda- agamic period. The author is aware that "divine identities" can be wrongly categorized as controversial ideals and psychosocial illnesses in today's world. In this regard, it is pointed out that the designation of this identity can be freely chosen and renamed or exchanged by the readers of this work. For the sake of simplicity, this identity is referred to as "the identity of the oneness" and is the actual basis on which the following concepts are built. In the following example, an entity called "Paramashiva" is included, which is synonymous with the term "identity of oneness", embodies it and helps the reader to better understand consciousness in order to manifest more consciousness. The pursuit of the cause of all causes is already the seed of super-consciousness and genius in us humans, which is in itself an independent intelligence that can be helped to blossom as long as the basic assumptions and the basic understanding of this seed are in accordance with the mode of existence of this intelligence. There is a real relationship to this intelligence, which can be consciously awakened and manifests through us individuals, insofar as we understand the trigger for the parallel universe synergy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: Poetry. LGBT Studies. "This writing is the New Brave. Few writers have so given in to the entropic forces that disentangle our bodies in the end, while at the same time furiously pooling social content into observable patterns. And there are thousands! Millions! Billions! In biological systems, DNA nucleotides are linked by enzymes in order to make long, chainlike, polynucleotides of defined sequence. In writing, the sub-social is linked by signs that make ringlets of undefined sequence. Only we can make think to make thought from it. It cannot be conceived of in advance. Download or read book Advaita Vedanta and Vaisnavism written by Sanjukta Gupta and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2013-02-01 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Indian philosophy and theology, the ideology of Vedanta occupies an important position. Hindu religious sects accept the Vedantic soteriology, which believes that there is only one conscious reality, Brahman from which the entire creation, both conscious and non-conscious, emanated. Madhusudana Sarasvati, who lived in sixteenth century Bengal and wrote in Sanskrit, was the last great thinker among the Indian philosophers of Vedanta. During his time, Hindu sectarians, rejected monistic Vedanta. Although a strict monist, Madhusudana tried to make a synthesis between his monistic philosophy and his theology of emotional love for God. Sanjukta Gupta provides the only comprehensive study of Madhusudana Sarasvati's thought. She explores the religious context of his extensive and difficult works, offering invaluable insights into Indian philosophy and theology.
